♦ Purchase a qualifying Energy Star rated high efficiency clothes washer after February 1, 2006
♦ Obtain an application package & qualifying rules.
♦ Complete an application, enclose a copy of your receipt, and mail it to:

Retain a copy of the completed rebate application for your records. The Sales Receipt must be dated
after February 1, 2006, with the name of the seller clearly indicated. Your rebate will be credited to your
account within 60 days after receipt and verification. West Sound Utility District may take such action as is
reasonably necessary to verify the accuracy of statements made in the application prior to payment
rebate.

West Sound Utility District reserves the right to inspect the installation for conformity to program requirements.
This offer is valid for residential clothes washers purchased after February 1, 2006. Funds for rebates are limited and
available on a first come first served basis, limit one rebate per household. The District will review your rebate
application and determine if the installed products qualify for the rebate. By signing below you acknowledge that the
residential clothes washer purchased is on the District qualified model list, and the appliance is installed at a
residence served by the District water system. District may inspect these products for conformity to program
requirements. The West Sound Utility District makes no implied or expressed warranties or representations with
regard to these products or water/energy savings from these installations. Rebate offer is dependent on available
funds and expires when funds are exhausted. The Board of Commissioners in their sole discretion retains the ability
to extend, modify, or cancel the Water Conservation Rebate Program.

Water Conservation Rebate Program
♦ Customer shall be in good standing in payment of all District billings and in
compliance with all duly enacted regulations at time of application, and when the
machine was purchased.
♦ Customer shall be a residential customer of the District (apartments,
condominiums, commercial establishments, or multiple duplexes on a single
water meter do not currently qualify).
♦ The machine used shall be permanently located in a qualifying residence within
the District’s service area.
♦ The machine purchased must appear on the preferred ENERGY STAR list, as
periodically revised.
♦ The machine shall have been purchased on or after February 1, 2006.
♦ Customer shall provide proof of purchase in the form of a sales receipt or
purchase invoice.
♦ Customer shall allow for physical inspection of the new machine by a District
representative to confirm the make and model of the washing machine.
♦ Rebate amount is currently established at $50.00 per household.
