and Building Performance
BOLLINGER + GROHMANN Ingenieure is a
Frankfurt based engineering consultancy with
more than 25 years experience and expertise in
structural engineering and design. Founded in
1983, today BOLLINGER + GROHMANN has
100 employees in three European offices and provides a complete range of structural design services for clients and projects worldwide. For years
they have been collaborating successfully with numerous internationally recognised architects and
strive to always provide the best solution through
their creativity and technical excellence. Their
scope of work includes building structures, facade
design and building performance for commercial,
retail and exhibition facilities as well as classic civil
engineering structures such as bridges, roofs and
towers.
The typical design and construction process involves the collaboration of the entire design team
including structural engineers and architects. A
good collaboration is the basis for a high-quality
building with respect to historic, cultural and aesthetic aspects. It is our understanding that the structural design not only has to support but also refine
the architectural concept in terms of functionality
and economy. Therefore we do not just consider
ourselves as the architect’s contractor but also a
client’s “trustee”. Sustainability, flexibility, cost effectiveness and the careful use of resources are important criteria in the search of solutions.
