DIVERSITY COUNCIL
A MULTICULTURAL RESOURCE PROMOTING EXCELLENCE
Welcome from the Council
Dear Participants,
We are truly honored to welcome you to the Inaugural Silicon Valley Women’s Tech Roundtable. This event offers a
platform for you to observe, gain knowledge, and network with incredible women who have achieved great success in
the technology field.
Although women make up more than half of the U.S. population, they continue to be underrepresented in the
technology field. Our goal in creating the Women’s Tech Roundtable is to unite women of various backgrounds to
discuss how to improve career interest and advancement in the field. You will have the opportunity to discuss appealing
topics such as “Confidence 101,” “Essential Leadership Skills,” and “The Art of Promotion” with some of the leading
women in your industry. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain insight on how to advance in
your career.
We encourage you to take the initiative to meet new colleagues and exchange ideas that will contribute to your own
success. It is our hope that your experience is rewarding and that you leave empowered to reach new heights within
your organization. Just as the leading women presenting here today, you too are more than capable of reaching the top.
We sincerely appreciate your attendance today in support of our Inaugural Women’s Tech Roundtable. We would also
like to thank our corporate sponsors, planning committee, and volunteers for their support and participation.
Sincerely,
Dennis Kennedy
