hacker community

History
First Music Hack Day took place in London July 2009,
organized by Dave Haynes and James Darling
●
Since then there have been close to 30 MHD's all
around the world
● More than 2000 participants have made 500 "hacks"
● Around 60 companies and organizations have
supported Music Hack Day
●
New York, San Francisco, Barcelona (Sonar), Berlin,
London, Cannes (Midem), Sydney, Stockholm...
●
Setup
●
Free of charge for participants
●
Work in small teams or solo.
Sponsors will showcase their products/services/apis,
and send hackers. Sometimes award prizes for best
hacks
●
The work is fully and wholly owned by the respective
participants.
●
