• By-passed Opportunities
• “Problems” as Opportunities (i.e. Market and Project Size)
Osyka Permian, LLC was established in October 2002, to evaluate and acquire producing oil and gas properties.
The area of focus is primarily the southern United States, along the onshore Gulf Coast. The company has
participated in exploration projects in South Texas, Southeast Texas, South Louisiana and Mississippi. Osyka
Permian LLC holds working interest in oil and gas wells located in Mississippi and additional wells in El Toro,
Clinton and North Hitchcock Fields in Texas.
Continuing to execute its initial strategy, the company is intensely involved in appraisals of producing properties
with sole purpose of acquiring an operated or non-operated working interest. Currently targeted are properties
characterized by strong to medium cash flows with low risk and incremental development potential.
Through in-depth studies and recent advances in 3-D seismic and drilling technology, Osyka Permian, LLC is able
to assess both technically and economically the incremental potential of properties (i.e., in-fill and offset drilling
and secondary recovery) with a high degree of certainty. Through these efforts, Osyka Permian, LLC can bid
competitively for proven reserve value while capturing low risk proven undeveloped and high degree probable
reserves at below market cost. In order to achieve high returns on incremental reserves, Osyka Permian, LLC will
minimize the capital requirements to move reserves from the proved underdeveloped and probable categories
to provide producing. Considering the background and experience of the staff of Osyka, it is uniquely poised to
identify and capture these opportunities.
• Upside Reserves and/or Value Generation Potential
• Extensive Follow-Up if Play Successful -- ‘Multiplier’ Effect
• Limited Commitments/Obligations
In the long term, as non-operating expenses increase, securing a controlling interest and the role of operator of
properties will continue to be a primary focus.
• Favorable Commercial Terms Yielding Attractive Risked Economic Returns
