under the Environmental Management Act
to store scrapped vehicles.

Registering the demolition of cars
• directly by means of on-line registration
• or through the post office.

On-line registration of car demolition
(ORAD)
• No (input) errors are made.
• Anything wrong with the registered vehicle
(whether it has been stolen, exported, etc.)
• Saves time
• If you have entered into a contract with Car
Recycling Netherlands BV (ARN), you may be
eligible for a premium if you dismantle/demolish
the vehicle in a prescribed way.

Non-automated registration of
demolition
• you must first place the vehicles to be
dismantled in your company stock. You
must also have the complete vehicle
registration certificate in your possession.
To do this, you can use your company stock
card at the post office.
• send vehicle registration documents within
one week to RDW
