SALT LAKE COMIC CON FanX 2016
Meet the stars at Salt Lake Comic Con FanX 2016!
Celebrity Row is the Vendor Hall hotspot where you’ll be able to find our amazing celebrity guests
this weekend! Here are some things you may want to know before you make your way over to
have a once-in-a-lifetime experience with your longtime Hollywood crush or favorite TV star.
Autographs
Get a Star’s Signature • Enjoy a Personal Moment • Make Your Friends Jealous
Most of our celebrity guests will be selling autographs at their booths. Head to Celebrity Row to
purchase an autograph from your favorite celebrity guest. If you pre-purchased online or won
through Salt Lake Comic Con’s official social media accounts, you will need to print your QR code
and redeem it at the Autograph Booth prior to visiting their table. Some celebrity guests allow
fans to take photos with them at their booths for a small fee.
Photo Ops
The Ultimate Fan Souvenir • Professional Portraits • Includes Glossy Print
Photo Ops are opportunities to have a picture taken of you with your favorite celebrity by a
professional photographer. You will receive an 8”x10” print of the photo and may also purchase
a digital print that is emailed to you. These often sell out, so don’t procrastinate - purchase your
Photo Op in advance!
SALT LAKE COMIC CON FanX 2016
Step 2: Photo Op Queueing Area - Where attendees will wait for their Photo Op session to
begin.
Step 3: Photo Op Staging Area - Your QR Code will be scanned at this time. You may leave
your bags and possessions in this secure area while you have your Photo Op Moment.
Step 4: Photo Op Moment - Step right up! This is your moment with your favorite celebrity.
Don’t forget to smile!
Step 5: Print Pick-Up and Check-Out - Pick up the 8x10 print of your Photo Op and scan out
with your QR code. This is also where you can purchase digital prints and plastic sleeves.
A few final tips
We know you’re really excited to meet our celebrity guests - you may have waited your whole life
for this moment, but please make sure to keep your behavior considerate, polite and respectful at
all times, in order to ensure that everyone has a positive and safe experience at the convention.
Now take a deep breath, pop a breath mint and give yourself one last pep talk because it’s
time to meet the stars!
LEARN HOW THE PHOTO OP PROCESS WORKS BELOW:
1. You are allowed four attendees per Photo Op.
If you wish to have more than 4 people in your session, you must purchase an additional Photo
Op prior to your session. Otherwise, the additional people will be turned away at Photo Op
Check-In. Babies under one year do not count.
2. Arrive at Photo Op Check-In 15 minutes before your Photo Op time — no earlier, no later.
Arriving too early clogs the Photo Op Area and makes everyone wait longer, so you will be
turned away. If you are late, you may miss your Photo Op, and no refunds will be given. There
will be volunteers and signage at Photo Op Check-in that will inform attendees which groups
are allowed to queue.
3. Print your Photo Op QR code.
Phone service at the Salt Palace is not always reliable, so please come prepared with a paper
printout of your QR code. This will keep lines moving quickly.
4. Once you arrive at Photo Op Check-In, volunteers will guide you through the process.
Step 1: Photo Op Check-In - QR code is verified for correct Photo Op session and number of
people in your group.
