The resort Golf Course
T
he crown jewel of The Resort is The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course featuring the world’s only floating,
moveable golf green. Our golf course has received a perfect Five Star Rating from Golf Digest and a Gold
Medal from Golf Magazine making our course one of only six courses in North America to be so recognized.
Your golf experience includes a water taxi ride to the course in a custom-made Honduran mahogany boat,
18 holes of golf, a custom electric cart with tilt steering wheel, seat heater, tee dispensers and ball washer, custom
engraved bag tag, unlimited range balls on our over-the-water driving range, complimentary sports massage
and a forecaddie who acts as a personal concierge for each foursome throughout their golf experience.
At The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course you won’t have to worry about the planning of your golf tournament.
Our Tournament Director will take care of every detail including scoring, hole prizes, personalized logo wear,
organizing foursomes and just about anything else involved with the tournament.

Our golf pros can customize a clinic to accommodate your attendee’s skill level and time availability.
Shootout Package
Consists of a closest to the pin contest on the 14th hole (floating green) and a putting contest. This
is a great activity by itself or as a unique start to a dinner at the Golf Course Pavilion.
Hole-in-One Insurance
Players can win cash or prizes if they make a hole in one on the floating green.

fter a day of meetings, your Guests will be pampered in The
Spa Coeur d’Alene, featured as the Most Romantic Spa in the
World by MSNBC. Our 30,000 square foot facility features 21 private
treatment rooms and a serene meditation room overlooking the
picturesque lake. Signature hydrotherapy packages include a soothing
bath in one of The Spa’s Flow-Through Tubs, Vichy Water Fall Massage
or our exclusive SilverTag Showers which distributes water through
18 showerheads working six zones of the body.
The Spa Coeur d’Alene also features an exclusive salon, private barber
room, men’s and women’s custom locker rooms, lake-view manicure
and pedicure services, relaxing music and spa cuisine served by our 5-star
Beverly’s restaurant.
In addition, you’ll find a Fitness Center complete with a Junior-Olympic

It may be difficult to find time to get outside and enjoy the diverse terrain and that’s where we come in. Pick
one or more of the following trails: Mineral Ridge (moderate/scenic), Farragut State Park (easy/scenic), English
Point (easy/scenic), or Mount Coeur d’Alene (strenuous/wooded & scenic views).

Mountain Biking Adventures
This is a guided adventure on one of the following trails: Route of the Hiawatha (moderate/maintained gravel,
spectacular scenery, tunnels, high trestles), Trail of the Coeur d’Alene (easy/paved, lake & river views), Farragut
Park (advanced/single track trail, scenic), Centennial Trail (easy/scenic, paved, flat).
Time: 3 -7 hours (Centennial Trail is walking distance, for all others transportation is provided.)

Sushi Making/Sake Tasting
This is a hands-on sushi making class put on by our experts at Bonsai Bistro.
Your Guests will enjoy a mini-tasting of various Japanese beers and sake
while creating their masterpiece to share with the class.
Chef Demonstrations
Your Guests will sit back and relax while our Chefs demonstrate the theme
of your choice. Options are Chocolates of the World, Signature Dishes of
Beverly’s Restaurant, Quick Entrees to make at Home, Desserts to Dazzle,
Fresh Healthy & Nutritional Cooking, A Taste of the Northwest, Sausage
Making, Smoking & Grilling and All About Huckleberries.
Custom Blended Olive Oils
Your Guests will learn how to blend their own custom olive oils and
utilize them in fabulous recipes prepared by our Chefs. Add a specialty
martini bar featuring the Coeur d’Alene Olive Oil Company’s gourmet
stuffed olives.

Resort Wine Cellar
Our Sommelier from Beverly’s will take your Guests on a journey of flavors
with wines from around the world paired with exotic cheeses and fruit.
They will also get a tour of our Resort Cellar boasting one of the largest
hotel wine collections (over 20,000 bottles).

We will transport your Guests to Coeur d’Alene Cellars winery and tasting
room. They will be educated on the bottling process, tour the grounds and

HISTORY
A
ccording to legend, in the late 18th century, French-Canadian troops and fur traders were first to encounter
the native people of this region. These were the Schitsu’ umsh tribe, and they were known for their skill and
experience with trading. A French trader who described the tribe as “the greatest traders in the world” named
them the Coeur d’Alene, or “Heart of the Awl,” which is a very sharp tool used to pierce leather, to refer to their
cunning at trade.
Historical Tour of Coeur d’Alene
Visit two fine museums; The Museum of North Idaho and the Fort Sherman Museum, home to incredible
photographs depicting the history of Fort Sherman, Coeur d’Alene Lake bustling with steamboat activity
and the impact of the mining and timber industries. Next you’ll tour areas with early homes and landmarks,
including Fort Sherman Chapel built in 1880. This tour is a fascinating cross-section of vintage buildings,
churches and Victorian houses.

Old Mission State Park & Gold Mine Tour
Idaho’s oldest building, the Mission of the Sacred Heart, was constructed in the mid 1800’s by members of the
Coeur d’Alene Tribe and Jesuits. In addition to tours of the church and the restored parish house, your guests
will visit the interpretive center to discover the impact of the Catholic missionaries on the settlement of the
Northwest and the history of the region’s Indian tribes.

History of Coeur d’Alene & Clark House Mansion
Learn the early history of Coeur d’Alene as you view the original site of Fort Sherman and the lakeside homes.
Travel North to Hayden Lake for an elegant three-course lunch at the Clark House Mansion and hear about the
history of this elegant mansion restored from ruins to the spectacular home it is today.

Silver Valley Mine Tour
The Sierra Silver Mine Tour in the historic town of Wallace is the silver capital of the world and is the only
tour of its kind in the Northwest. The tour offers a rare and exciting opportunity to personally experience the
underground world of mining. Your Guests will be issued a hard hat and board a trolley to go into the silver
mines. Lunch will be served at the Historic Jameson Hotel & Saloon.

ou haven’t experienced Lake Coeur d’Alene unless you’ve taken a
trip on one of our cruise boats. The Lake Coeur d’Alene Cruise fleet
includes six boats to charter your event and they also provide seasonal
public cruises that allow your Guests to enjoy the beauty of the lake.

Double Barrel Ranch Clay Shooting Range
Set within an environment of trees, ponds and wildflowers, Double Barrel
Ranch offers a variety of targets (which are modified regularly). They
utilize the newest equipment available in a variety of exciting games and
also offer year-round pheasant & chukar hunting, sporting clays, 5-stand
and a great escape to the outdoors.

Water Adventures
White Water Rafting
Discover Montana’s best white water with breathtaking rapids and
incredible canyon scenery. Between rapids paddlers will enjoy the
spectacular surroundings and watch for eagles, osprey, kingfishers, moose,
bear and deer. Location is two hours from The Resort – half day (3 hours
in water), and full day (6 hours in water). The full day includes a delicious
riverside lunch.

Kayak or Canoe Adventure

Orvis® Fly Fishing School
Learn casting techniques and more at our Orvis® Fly Fishing School. At

objectives in mind. They will put powerful play into work with theme built challenges, communication
roundtables and/or physical team challenges.

commercials, ending with an awards ceremony. Communication Roundtables

Wild Waters
Eleven waterslides of summer fun await your Guests at Wild Waters. The
park features a hot tub, a play pool for the little ones and areas for picnic,

Visit Triple Play Family Fun Park where fun is always in season. Offering

Snow Skiing & Snowboarding
We can provide transportation to two mountains: Silver Mountain (30 minutes) and Schwietzer Mountain
(60 minutes). Both have been rated in the top 50 ski destinations by Ski Magazine.

Cross-Country Skiing & Snow Shoeing
Get out in the fresh air and enjoy your peaceful surroundings. Two parks are available, Schweitzer Mountain or

Winter Lake Cruises
The Resort’s Holiday Light Show is the biggest and brightest in the Northwest. The extravaganza, features 225
animated and static displays positioned over the water, across The Resort grounds and at the North Pole, utilize
over one million lights to bring the lake to life during the Holidays. The Holiday Light Cruise takes revelers
across the water to Santa’s North Pole workshop.

Ice Skating
The South Pole Skating Village will be showcased during the Holiday Light Show opening ceremonies, which
include fireworks over Lake Coeur d'Alene. The 50x80-foot ice skating arena will have the flavor of an old-time
Christmas. The new ice skating experience is the latest attraction in the Holiday Light Show.

Snow Tubing
The Silver Mountain tubing park is a five-lane snowy roller coaster ride
with a drop of 200 feet and “Magic Carpet” ride back to the top. Open
Friday-Sunday with day and evening tubing available.

Carriage Rides
A horse drawn sleigh or carriage can transport your Guests on a scenic
eight-block tour of downtown Coeur d’Alene. We can also pre-arrange a
horse drawn trolley for up to 30 passengers.

Snowcat Skiing & Snowboarding
For the intermediate to expert skier, Peak Adventures offers Snowcat
skiing and snowboarding. It is a quick ride into the St. Joe Mountains where
a guide will lead you to open bowls, hidden glades and untouched powder
fields. The steepness ranges from 25-40 degrees where there are 350 annual
inches of snow. You will experience approximately 8 -15 runs per day.

Your Guests will be guided through beautiful scenery overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene.
