BEAU BROWN (GA) - As a youngling Beau Brown trained under his master, Fudgie Brown ... no
relation. He has spent the last decade of his career trying to distance himself from Fudgie's
predilection for blood and puss by relying heavily upon slapstick cartoon humor and copious
amounts of semen. CHRIS BROWN (GA) - Chris “Fudgie” Brown has worked with Michael Curry Designs, The
Center for Puppetry Arts, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Nickelodeon. It's his curse to be
equally talented in bloody, scary stuff and the painfully cute, fuzzy and adorable.
HELLBLINKI (NC) - "Three Penny Opera meets Sesame Street", with punk experimentation,
guerilla optics and a southern drawl. Tonight's event is a Frankenstienian trip down the rabbit hole
through the dubious wonders of Hellblinkland. HOBEY FORD (NC) of Weaverville NC, tours nationally
with his Puppet Theatre Golden Rod Puppets.
KAT PLEVIAK & MARY KATE RIX (IL) make up half

puppeteer. He has received a MCC grant, and he has
performed shows in venues ranging from the streets to
historical theaters from Canada to Mexico.
MISS PUSSYCAT & QUINTRON (LA) (VIDEO) - Miss
Pussycat with, her partner Quintron, create barely controlled
electronic chaos, "Swamp-Tech" dance beats, small explosions, incredible clothes, and entertaining
puppet stories. They are seen performing regularly on their international tours.
MISTRESSES OF THE RAMPAGE AKA COOPER HILL & KARRI SCOLLON (SC) - Both
were raised by She Wolves and are part of the Columbia Marionette Theatre Family.
TIM WATTS (AUSTRALIA) - From Perth in Western Australia, Tim is a multinational award
winning animator and puppeteer. Tim runs Weeping Spoon Productions and tours Internationally.
TORRY BEND (CA) - Torry Bend is a Set Designer and Puppet Artist. She teaches design at
Duke University and carries a stage on her head.
TRANSTRUM (NC) - The Wild Side of World, Folk and Mountain Tunes from the Heart of
Wilmington.
3RD EYE LOUNGE PLAYERS are SARAH FRECHETTE (OR), DREW ALLISON (NC) &
LYON HILL (SC). They've performed together for over 40 years. The Troupe began performing
in the Foxholes during the Vietnam War using bits of shrapnel and toilet paper.
PAUL MESNER (MO) - Paul is artistic and founder of The Paul Mesner Puppets now in its 23rd
season in Kansas City, Missouri. The company has received three UNIMA-USA Citations of
