Cititrust IP is a solution-focused
company‎specialising in intellectual
property (IP). We are an affiliate of
Glenn D. Godfrey & Co. LLP, a
commercial law firm established in
Belize City, Belize in 1979. Cititrust
International Inc. a progressive and
innovative Belizean company

What we do
Cititrust IP offers a full range of IP services; from
traditional trademarks, patents and designs, to cutting

the day-to-day monitoring, licensing, and renewals of an
IP portfolio.

groups and government bodies with the assessment and
planning for communal benefits from rights related but
not limited to: traditional knowledge, traditional cultural
expressions, and genetic resources.
Monitoring, anti-counterfeiting, enforcement and
fraud protection: Registering IP interests with customs
and border authorities, and acting on information which
indicates a presence of infringing goods within a
jurisdiction.

Cititrust IP prides itself on a diverse
and experienced IP team.
Marissa Longsworth
Miss Longsworth has knowledge and
experience in intellectual property
law‎and management law. Prior to
joining Cititrust IP, she held the post
of Manager of the Copyright &
Related Rights Directorate at the
Jamaica Intellectual Property Office.
She is on the World Intellectual
Property Organization’s list of
consultants, having been tasked by
Trinidad and Tobago’s IP Office to
develop a structure for a new
copyright division. She holds an LL.M
in Internet Law & Policy with merit
from the University of Strathclyde,
Scotland. She was called to the
Jamaica Bar in 2012.
Olabimpe Akinkuolie
Ms. Akinkuolie brings with her a
wealth of knowledge in civil litigation,
probate and succession, corporate
law and conveyancing. She has made
her mark within the field of
intellectual property having
successfully advocated for the
registration of well-known
trademarks in Belize. Prior to her
joining the firm, she worked as part of
a legal team working to protect
Belize’s environment and sensitive
ecosystems. She was recently
admitted to practice to the Belize
Bar.
