Facility Rentals
Facility rentals are made with the Brown County Park Office.
Rentals paid by credit card may be made via phone. Cash or check
payments must be made in person. Payment and the
following information is needed at the time of booking:
 Type of event
 Number of attendees
 Arrival and departure times
Pamperin - East Hall, Dance Hall & Gazebo, Village of Howard
 If optional services are desired (waste removal, etc.)
Hours of Rental
Most park shelters are available for rental between the hours of
10:00am and 10:00pm. Premises must be cleaned and vacated prior
to 10:00pm. Bay Shore, Pamperin and Reforestation Camp shelters
can be rented until 12:00 a.m. (midnight) for an additional fee of $100/
hour. Again, premises must be cleaned and vacated at the paid for
time of departure. The option of having the shelter opened one hour
earlier (9:00am) is available for an additional fee of $100.00.
Barkhausen is available for rental year round from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
Shelters are not available on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New
Years Eve and New Years Day. Shelters are available on Easter and
Thanksgiving with additional fees.
Reforestation Camp, Ski Lodge, Pines & Bridge, Village of Suamico
Cancellations
All shelter payments are non-refundable.
Indemnification
The County shall not be liable for any injuries, deaths or property
damage from the use of the leased facility nor is the County
responsible for any articles left, lost or stolen.
Music
Live bands and DJ’s are permitted with a shelter or grounds rental
and are subject to County Code of Ordinance 8.225 for noise.

Smoking, Glass, Alcohol, Tents
Smoking is prohibited inside all county park shelters and playgrounds.
Glass bottles are prohibited in all county park areas and facilities. No
alcoholic beverages shall be consumed in any park area by any person who has not attained legal drinking age. Alcoholic beverages are
not permitted outside any shelter building between November 1st and
the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend each year.
The public is allowed to erect one 12 x 12 tent or smaller with no
grounds fee. Erecting a larger tent or both of our 10 x 10 tents
(available for rent) would require a grounds fee.
Bay Shore - Enclosed, Town of Green Bay
Sales or Charging Admission Fees
No person shall vend, sell or offer for sale any food, beverage, or other commodity within any park to the public without authorization from
the Park Director. Individuals or groups acquiring such authorization
are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits or licenses for their
function.
Decorating
Bay Shore - Open, Town of Green Bay
No ladders can be brought in to decorate. Confetti is not allowed.
Balloons are not allowed at Pamperin Park or the Reforestation Camp
Lodge. Decorating is only allowed the day of the event unless you
reserve the facility the day before. Shelters may be opened one hour
earlier (9:00am) for an additional fee of $100.00. Candles may be
allowed in glass containers with Park Manager approval.
Barkhausen Lodge Rental
Lily Lake - Open, Town of Eaton
The building was built circa 1930 and provides a rustic setting with
tongue and groove paneled walls and hardwood floors. The lodge is
situated inside the West Shores Interpretive Center. Kiar’s Classroom
provides 6 banquet tables with seating for up to 55 guests and is
arranged in an ideal meeting set up with a projector and automated
screen. This is a great location for your next business meeting or
birthday party! Arrangements for rental can be made directly with the
staff at Barkhausen by calling 920-434-2824. Also one-hour staff
presentations may be scheduled on topics ranging from reptiles and
amphibians to the history of the property.

Gazebo Rental
The 16’ decorative gazebo at Pamperin Park is surrounded by
10,000 square feet of beautiful formal gardens. This gorgeous gazebo is an ideal
rental area for wedding ceremonies and
photo opportunities of all kinds including
engagement photos and graduation pictures. See chart on page 6 and 7 of this
brochure for rates.
Garden Chair Rental
Pamperin Park has 200 garden chairs available for rent at $1.50
each plus tax. Outside use requires an additional grounds fee
(gazebo does not require grounds fee).
The renter is responsible for setting up
the chairs and returning them to the designated area. Renters will be asked for a
beginning and ending time for reserving
these chairs. If chairs are not returned to
the designated areas at the
designated time, the renter will be charged the time
it takes to return the chairs. Any damaged chairs will
be replaced by Park Management and the renter will
be charged for the replacement including all additional costs of replacement such as handling, shipping,
and time of Brown County staff.
Tent Rental
Pamperin Park has two tents available
for rent on a first-come, first-served
basis. Tents are 10 x 10. Park staff will
put them up and take them down. Each
tent rents for $40 (plus tax) The public is
allowed to erect one 12 x 12 tent or
smaller with no grounds fee. Erecting
a larger tent or both 10 x 10 tents would require a grounds fee.

Clean Up and Waste Removal
It is the responsibility of the lessee to maintain the facility in a safe and
sanitary condition. Upon completion of the rental all decorations, tables,
floors, etc. shall be cleared. All additional tables and chairs are to be
returned to the storage area prior to leaving. The shelter should be returned to the condition it was prior to your rental. Where applicable,
lights, doors and windows shall be secured and fireplace screens and
doors properly placed or closed. The Lessee will be billed for all damages and cleaning costs should the above requirements not be met.
Park users are responsible for removing ALL waste material
generated by their activities from park and shelter areas. Trash
containers are not provided in outside park areas. With regard to waste
removal after a function, rental groups have the option to bring their own
trash bags and remove all their waste from the park and/or shelter buildings themselves, or pay an additional fee for waste removal. Fee includes waste and recycling receptacles, trash bags, and removal after
function by park staff.

For groups over 500 people, ask Office staff for rates. Pursuant to
Wisconsin’s recycling law, groups having waste materials removed by
park staff will be responsible for separation of recyclable materials.
Instructions are posted in park shelters. Failure to properly sort waste
materials will result in additional fees being assessed.
Keep Your Brown County Parks Clean!
While our outside picnic areas are carry-in/carry-out with regard
to trash disposal, our campsites and rental shelters have
established recycling centers. It’s the right thing to do. Recycling
preserves natural resources, saves energy and reduces the need
to open more landfills. In short, it helps preserve the environment for us
and for future generations.

Option #1
month for that entire month of the following year. For example, on
June 2, 2014 reservations can be made for the entire month of
June 2015.
 All reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and
are non-refundable. Reservations must be paid for at time of
booking and may be made in person at the Park Office or via
phone if paying by credit card.
 Facilities are to be used for approved purposes only.
Brown
County reserves the right to inspect premises and facilities at all
times to ensure proper usage.
 Commercial event information and scheduling can be obtained by
contacting the Park Office.
 Chairs and tables inside park shelters must stay inside. They are
not to be used outdoors.
 White Garden Chairs are not included in the rental of the Gazebo.
 Electrical outlets are available in gazebo at Pamperin Park.
 A grounds fee of $175 must be paid to enable you to put up a tent,
chairs, etc. Prior to the rental, grounds renters must confirm the
desired area with the Park Manager.
 Shelter fees are double on Easter and Thanksgiving Day.
 Maximum group size in Shelter is the maximum number of people
allowed at each shelter. Group sizes exceeding 250 at Pamperin
Park must rent both Halls.
 Groups exceeding Group Size in Park must pay a grounds fee.
 We have two grills available at Pamperin Park for event rental.
They are 2’ x 5’ in size and rent for $40 each plus tax.
 The Garden/Fountain area just outside the Dance Hall at
Pamperin Park is only available for rent to Dance Hall renters for a
grounds fee.
Option #1 includes four lengths of white icicle lighting hanging from
the center of the Dance Hall diagonally to the side walls. The
center is the highest point with two swags per length. The rental
cost for option #1 is $40 and includes set up prior to arrival and
take down after. Any damage occurring during the event the rental
party will be responsible for repair and/or replacement costs.
Option #2
Option #2 includes white icicle
lighting hanging from the center
of the Dance Hall to the center
of each end wall. Lighting run
the entire length of the Dance
Hall building. The rental cost for
option #2 is $20 and includes
set up prior to arrival and take
down after. Any damage occurring during the event the rental party
will be responsible for repair and/or replacement costs.
