MEET SAMANTHA!! CAREFLITE'S NEWEST "FLIGHT NURSE"
Samantha "Sammy" Rangel joined the CareFlite family on Tuesday, June 16th. The visit was arranged
by Ragan’s Hope, a not-profit organization that facilitates visits like this one for children with
debilitating diseases. Sammy had always wanted to be a CareFlite Nurse. Following the “new hire
orientation” Sammy was provided her CareFlite ID badge and met with Connie Musgrove RN. She also
was supplied with her own flight suit and went to the morning flight operations briefing prior to being
introduced to her co-workers. She then was able to fly on a CareFlite helicopter. For more information
on Ragan’s Hope, a non-profit organization go to http://raganshope.org

ambulances are dispatched.

Then it was off to her first CQI meeting where she met Jan
Cody, CareFlite’s Vice President of Clinical Quality &
