Einleitung
Entdecken Sie Ihre alten Audio-Kassetten neu mit dem DigiTape DT-01, indem Sie
Ihre Kassetten in MP3s umwandeln für Verwendung auf dem Computer, iPod oder im
Auto. Das DigiTape DT-01 ist ein kleines tragbares USB Kassettengerät, das mit allen
Bandarten arbeitet. Er hat einen einfach verwendbaren USB-Anschluss für
Umwandeln der Musik auf Kassetten in MP3-Dateien. Die MP3-Dateien können auf
dem Computer gehört werden, auf einen tragbaren Musikplayer geladen oder auf
CDs gebrannt werden und im Auto gehört werden. Die geringe Größe ermöglicht
Transport in beinahe jeder Tasche und erlaubt Wiedergabe und Übertragung von
Musik überall. Das Gerät arbeitet für flexiblen Betrieb mit Batterie oder mit
USB-Stromversorgung bei Anschluss am Computer. Ein leistungsfähiges, aber
einfach zu verwendendes Programm hilft bei der Überführung der Musik und kann
sogar mit der iTunes-Musik-Library integriert werden. Zusätzlich zur Überführung von
Kassetten hat dieses Gerät einen Audioausgang zum Musik hören über die
Stereoanlage, Kopfhörer oder andere Lautsprechersysteme!

Einlegen / Auswechseln der Batterien
Wenn Sie wollen, können Sie das DigiTape DT-01 mit Batterien betreiben. Schieben
Sie zum Einlegen der Batterien den Schalter 1 zurück, um das Gerät zu öffnen.
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, legen Sie zwei AA-Batterien (mit korrekter Polarität) ein
und schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.

Diesen Schalter zur Seite schieben, um das Gerät zu öffnen.
Stellt die Lautstärke für Kopfhörer und USB-Anschluss ein.
Anschluss für Kopfhörer mit einem 3,5mm-Stecker.
Das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel für Anschluss des Gerätes an den
Computer verwenden. Auf der mitgelieferten CD ist die
Software, die bei der Überführung von Aufnahmen auf Ihren
Computer hilft.
(Play) Für Kassettenwiedergabe drücken.
Zum Anhalten des Bandes drücken.
Für Schnellvorlauf bzw. Rückspulen des Bandes verwenden.
Bitte beachten, dass diese Tasten vertauscht werden, wenn das
Band die Richtung wechselt.
Wählt die Richtung der Bandwiedergabe. Dies ist nützlich, wenn
Sie die andere Seite der Kassette wiedergeben wollen, ohne die
Kassette auswerfen zu müssen.
Was soll passieren, wenn das Bandende erreicht ist? Bei
Stellung auf das Schleifensymbol ändert das Band am Ende
einer Seite automatisch die Richtung und beginnt mit
Wiedergabe der anderen Seite. Bei Stellung auf das einzelne
Pfeilsymbol hält das Band am Ende einer Seite einfach an.
Hardware-Installation
Dieses Gerät erfordert keine
Treiberinstallation,
die
Treiber
werden automatisch von Windows
installiert.
Anchließen
des
USB-Anschluss des Gerätes an
einen freien USB2.0-Anschluss.
Das
System
meldet
„Neue
Hardware gefunden“. Kurz warten
bis das System meldet „Das Gerät
kann jetzt verwendet werden“.
Überprüfen
der
korrekten
HardwareInstallation. Rechts auf
„Arbeitsplatz“ klicken, “Hardware”
wählen und rechts auf “Device
Manager” klicken.
Klicken Sie dann “Sound, video and
game controllers”, wo Sie den
Gerätenamen “USB Audio Device”
finden.
Software-Installation
Einlegen der mitgeliefert CD in das
CD-Laufwerk
und
Bildschirmanweisungen befolgen. Sobald die
Software installiert ist, das Gerät mit
dem mitgelieferten USB-Kabel an
den PC anschließen, um das Audio
zu
übertragen. Einlegen der
Software-CD ins CD-Laufwerk +
Doppelklick auf „Arbeitsplatz“. Dann
auf
das
CD-Symbol
„Audio
Cassette“.
Doppelklick
auf
„audacity“, um die Software zu
installieren. Anwählen von „Next“, „I
accept the agreement“ und/oder
„finish“,
um
die
Softwareinstallation abzuschließen.
Bedienung
Möglicherweise muß das Gerät
einmal vom Computer getrennt
und
wieder
angeschlossen
werden. Einen Doppelklick auf
das Symbol „audacity“ auf dem
Desktop des Computers, zuerst
die Sprache wählen und dann
auf „OK“ klicken
Zuerst auf die Schaltfläche
„Bearbeiten“ (Edit) in der
Menüleiste der Software klicken.
Dann „Einstellungen“ wählen
(Preferences).
.
Wählen des Aufnahmegeräts als
„USB PnP Audio Device” und die
Kanäle als „2 (Stereo)“.
Außerdem „Play other tracks
while recording new one” wählen
und “Software Play through
(Play new track while Recording
it)“. Dann auf „OK“ klicken.
Nun kann mit der Aufnahme von
Analogaudio zu einer digitalen
MP3-Datei begonnen werden.
Anklicken der roten Aufnahme
Schaltfläche,
um
mit
der
Aufnahme des gewünschten
Audios zu beginnen. Zum
Beenden der Aufnahme auf die
gelbe StoppSchaltfläche klicken.
Für den Export als MP3-Datei
sind noch einige Schritte
erforderlich. Auf „File“ klicken
und wählen von „Export als
MP3“ (Export As MP3).
Festlegen eines Dateinamen und
des Speicherortes.
Die Software fragt nun nach dem
Ort, an dem Speicherort des
Plug-ins „lame_enc.dll“, Deshalb
müssen Sie nun diese Datei auf
Ihrem Computer finden, damit
sie kopiert werden kann.
Hinweis: Diese Datei ist auf
der mitgelieferten CD-ROM.
Vielleicht müssen Sie noch
einige Informationen eingeben.
Nun können Sie von Ihrem
analogen
Audiogerät
eine
MP3-Datei erhalten. Sie können
diese Datei mit iTunes für Ihr
iPod verwenden.
Sicherheitshinweise zur Batterieentsorgung: Batterien von Kindern fernhalten. Wenn ein Kind eine Batterie verschluckt hat,
dann umgehend zu einem Arzt gehen oder ins Krankenhaus fahren! Die richtige Polarität (+) und (--) der Batterien
beachten!Immer alle Batterien auswechseln. Nie alte und neue Batterien oder Batterien unterschiedlicher Typen zusammen
verwenden. Batterien nie kurzschließen, öffnen, verformen oder aufladen! Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr durch Auslaufen von
Batterieflüssigkeit! Werfen NIE Batterien ins Feuer werfen! Es besteht Explosionsgefahr!
Hinweise zum Umweltschutz: Alte Geräte/Batterien nicht im Hausmüll entsorgen. Reinigung: Gerät vor
Verschmutzung schützen (mit sauberen Tuch reinigen.) Keine rauen/groben Materialien/Lösungsmittel oder
aggressive Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Gereinigtes Gerät gründlich abwischen. Wichtiger Hinweis: Sollte
Batterieflüssigkeit ausgelaufen sein, das Batteriefach mit einem weichen Tuch trockenwischen.

Introduction
Rediscover old songs with the DigiTape DT-01 by turning your tapes into MP3’s to use
on your computer, iPod or in the car! The DigiTape DT-01 is a portable, handheld USB
tape player that works with all kinds of tapes. It has an easy-to-use USB connection
for converting the music on your tapes into MP3 files. You can listen to MP3’s on your
computer, load them onto your portable music player, or record them onto a CD and
listen in your car. Its portable size allows it to fit in virtually any bag and enables you to
play and transfer music anywhere. It runs on battery or USB power when connected
to your computer for flexible operation. This powerful yet easy-to-use programme
guides you through transferring your Music and even can integrate with your iTunes
Music Library. In addition to transferring your tapes. DigiTape DT-01 has an audio
output that enables you to listen on your stereo, headphones, or other speaker
systems for hours of enjoyment!

Inserting and replacing the batteries
If you wish, you can run the device via batteries. To insert the batteries, slide back
switch 1 to open the device.Open the battery compartment and insert 2x AA battery
(making sure the battery is correctly aligned ) and replace the battery compartment.
Description of parts
1 Eject
Slide this switch to open the cassette holder.
2 Volume
Adjusts the volume of the headphones and USB connection.
3 Headphones
You can connect 1/8” headphones here.
4 USB
Connection
Use the included USB cable to connect the device to your
computer. For transferring your recordings to your computer, we
have provided a software package on the included CD.
5 Play
Press to play the tape.
6 Stop
Press to stop the tape.
7 FF / REW
Press to fast forward or rewind the tape. Note that these buttons
will become “reversed” when the tape changes direction.
8 DIR
(Direction)
Selects the direction of tape playback. This is useful if you want
to play the other side of the tape without having to eject it.
9 Play Mode
End of a side: when set to the “loop” icon, the tape will
automatically switch direction and begin playing the opposite
side when one side has finished. When set to the single arrow
icon, the tape will simply stop when a side has finished.
Hardware Installation
The device does not need any driver
installation, Windows OS will install
the driver automatically. Please
connect
audio
capture
USB
connector into your computer’s free
USB2.0 port. The system will note
“Found new hardware.” Please wait
for a Moment until system will note
“The device is ready to use”. Please
check hardware installing correctly.
Right click “My Computer” and
select “Properties”, and select
“Hardware” Option, click “Device
Manager” key.
Then click “Sound, video and game
controllers”, and then you will find
the device name “USB Audio
Device”.
Software Installation
Insert the CD (supplied) into the CD
drive and follow the onscreen
instructions. Once the software is
installed, you can connect the
device to your computer using the
USB cable (supplied) to transfer
your audio. Insert software CD in
your CD drive, and double click ”My
Computer” and “Audio Cassette” CD
icon. Double click “audacity” to
install software, click or select
“Next”, ”I accept the agreement”
and/or “ finish” to finish the software
installation.
Operation
Maybe you need to pull the
audio capture device and plug it
into your computer again.
Double click “audacity” icon on
your computer’s desktop, select
your language first, then click
on ”OK”.
Click “Edit” key on the software
panel and select “Preferences”
.
Select recording device to be
“USB PnP Audio Device”, and
channels to Be “2(Stereo)”.
Select ”Play other tracks while
recording
new
one”
and
“Software Play through (Play
new track while Recording it)”,
then click on “OK”.
Now we start to record analogue
audio to be digital MP3 format
file. Click red record key to start
recording audio that you wanted.
When you want to finish, click
yellow stop key.
At the first time, we need to do
more steps if we want to export
as MP3 file. Click “File” and
select “Export As MP3”.
You need to give one file name
and location now.
Now, software notes you to
check location of plug-ins
file-“lame_enc.dll”, so you need
view computer to find the file
that you copied it before.
Note: CD-ROM included with
this file inside.
Maybe you still need to write
some information.
Now, you can get MP3 file
through your analogue audio
device. You can use the file for
your iPod by iTunes.
Security and Disposal Hints for Batteries: Hold children off batteries. When a child swallowed a battery go to a doctors place
or bring the child into a hospital promptly! Look for the right polarity (+) and (--) of batteries! Always change all batteries, never
use old and new batteries or batteries of different types together. Never short batteries. Do NOT open, deform or load up
batteries! There is a risk of injury by battery leakage fluid! NEVER throw batteries into fire! There is a risk of explosion!
Hints for Environment Protection: Do not disposal old devices or batteries into the domestic waste. Cleaning:
Protect the device from contamination and pollution. Only clean the device with soft cloth or drapery, avoid using rough
or coarse-grained materials. Do NOT use solvents or other aggressive cleaner. Wipe the device after cleaning
accurately. Important Notice: Should battery fluid leak from a battery, wipe the battery-case with a soft cloth dry.
