Tomorrow dubbed 'The Playground of the Future'. Around the pe
riphery of the dancefloor Oorney has chosen six of RCF's C311 0 full
range speakers, with rotatable horns, set in portrait mode and it was
this flexibility of orientation that drove his decision.
But his carefully worked system design came unstuck when he was
prevented from floor standing the subs he had earmarked. "It was
also impractical to put them in the bulkhead so we had to fly the
subs from the overhead truss," he reports. Instead Oorney turned to
RCF's n + range - selecting six nS28 direct radiating, large format
subwoofers, using flyware from Rope Assemblies.
Interspersed between are six RCF Acustica H 1312 three way horn
loaded controlled dispersion enclosures - chosen for their combina
tion of low weight and "punchy crispness." Some near fills prOVide
extra presence at the stage. A stylish OJ workstation has been
bespoke manufactured by Nightlife Consultancy, with apertures cut
to house the Pioneer COJ-2000's, OJM-2000 mixer and Soundcraft

side - featuring mostly Behringer dynamics - the OJ could think they
were in the cockpit of an F 1 car.
