BIOXCELL SPRING UNIT
BioXCell offers the most advanced technology in pocket spring systems available
anywhere in the world. Individual, electronically heat-tempered springs provide a longer
life and added durability. Unlike conventional spring units, the BioXCell springs have complete
independence from one another, giving complete freedom from partner disturbance.
TORQUEZONE SPRING UNIT
DEEP QUILTED SLEEPING SURFACE
Deep quilting through foam and extra thick layers of Nuvole–Pure Comfort fibre.
SMOOTH-QUILTED SLEEPING SURFACE
Flatter type surface where outer covering is quilted through soft foam.
SPECIALLY TREATED OUTER FABRIC
Recognised as the world’s most advanced support system, the Torquezone unit features
spirals made from one continuous length of high strength, heat tempered steel wire, which
dramatically increases the strength and support of the unit. The spirals are linked together
with helicals that run head to toe, which helps reduce ‘roll-together’.
All models feature a posturised centre, where additional springs are more closely spaced in the
lumbar/hip zone, giving additional support. The Torquezone system is completely encased in
the Structureflex foam box. This gives superb edge support right around the perimeter of the bed, further
extending the sleeping surface, and giving the required upport for getting in and out of bed.
Sleepyhead Commercial heavy duty, hard wearing outer fabrics have been specifically
treated with SlumberGuard. This treatment is not only a fire retardant, but also
inhibits the growth of micro-organisms.
TRUFLEX ADVANCED SPRING UNIT
EXTRA LENGTH SINGLE/DOUBLE BEDS
Electronically heat-tempered for added durability, the well proven Truflex spring unit is
virtually indestructible and will provide years of support.
HEAVY DUTY INSULATING LAYERS
Insulating layers are extremely durable and help prevent spring wear, adding years to the
life of the mattress. Used on both sides of the spring unit, these allow air and moisture
to flow right through.
NATURAL LATEX COMFORT LAYERS
Specially moulded to breathe more freely and mould to your body shape, Latex Gold
supports your body uniformly, yet yields to the extra pressure and shape of your hips and
shoulders, providing correct spine–in–line support. Scientifically proven to be anti-bacterial,
hypo-allergenic, dust free, contaminant-free and non-toxic resulting in a total muscle
relaxation of the body and a healthier sleeping surface.
DREAMFOAM® COMFORT LAYERS
Environmentally Friendly DreamFoam® is New Zealand’s first truly environmentally
friendly foam manufactured using a carbon neutral process. The unique cell structure
of DreamFoam® offers superior support and comfort. The DreamFoam® process
produces less waste and is 100% recyclable.
ZIP-COMBINATION

Sleepyhead offer a ‘zip-combination’ design where two beds are joined together by a
high tensile zip (making for example, an overall King, Super King or California King size)
with each person having their own individual comfort zone. This also offers greater room
flexibility. Bases are secured by an easy to use metal joiner system at both ends.
Conventional Single and Double bedding sizes are 190cm x 91cm and 137cm
respectively all models except Hotelier and Wayfarer are 203cm long as standard.
Other models in the range are 190cm long with the option of ordering them
203cm long if desired.
FIRM EDGE DIVAN BASE
Divan base featuring a spring unit complementary to that in the mattress – effectively
doubling the level of comfort and support, adding years to the life of the bed.
ORTHOPAEDIC BASE
Deep base with solid wooden slats on top. Fully upholstered to match the mattress.
SPLIT BASE FOR EASY MANOEUVRABILITY
All King size beds have a ‘split base’ combination, for easy handling/moving.
LEGS
A choice of legs, castors and glides are available, to suit individual requirements.
