CribMaster Weigh Station
Weigh Station Functions, Features, and Benefits:
Passive issue means that users simply identify themselves and
take what they need, the system can handle the rest. The
system will take care of the counting, ordering, communicating
with the supply chain, reporting who has used what, providing
accurate cost accounting, and much more. The whole concept
of passive issue is simple. We design solutions to make it easy
for workers to do the right thing because it is non-intrusive and
does not cause additional steps to be taken. Passive issue
devices give management the ability to deal with the exceptions
rather than lock down inventory which can cause frustration and
additional processes to be required.
The CribMaster Weigh Station is a passive issue device that
includes a very accurate scale and bin technology to immediately
count when an item has been removed or returned into a bin.
This device allows for a highly flexible design to be achieved
while benefitting from the most robust inventory management
system available for managing tools, MRO, PPE, and other
indirect material. The restocking is as simple as receiving the
line item on the purchase order on the touchscreen, opening
the door and putting your items in the bin. The Weigh Station
requires no repackaging or no tagging and is great for bulk
issue (hardware, fasteners, bolts, etc.) If you are a distributor
this is a great solution for management of consignment
inventory to be managed remotely and provide great service to
your accounts.
No repackaging needed
Great for bulk issue items
Very accurate issue and return counts
Automated ordering based on weight
Great solution for high-use consumable inventory or MRO
inventory or safety items
Can combine both large and small items

AccuCab
CribMaster AccuCab
Imagine your employees walk up to a cabinet that stores
tooling, maintenance parts, kits or even hazmat materials. Like
all of our CribMaster point-of-use devices, the employee is
required to identify himself or herself. The door unlocks using
an electromagnetic lock and inside are shelves that contain the
items they need to complete their task. Each item is identified
with a passive Gen2 RFID tag and when the item is removed,
inventory is automatically adjusted and monitored through
CribMaster.
The AccuCab is a great solution for managing kits at point-ofuse, tracking the usage of durable items, or tracking maintenance
items to work orders and tasks. The only additional step to
employees is identifying who they are by a password on the
touch screen or a barcode scan. No inventory to scan or
transactions to log. Transactions are automatically recorded
when inventory is removed from the cabinet.
AccuCab Functions, Features, and Benefits:
Simple “plug and play” self contained RFID device (COTS)
Touch screen control allows for User ID log in
Configurable shelving to accommodate different size items
Total kit tracking and replenishment process tracking

CribMaster AccuCab2D
Same great technology as the original AccuCab but with a more
visual front and a 2-door design. The AccuCab2D works well in
environments where the larger, more industrial single door
cabinet doesn't make sense. For instance, in a less industrial
atmosphere like an office environment or lab the AccuCab2D is
a much better fit.
Imagine your employees walk up to a cabinet that stores
tooling, maintenance parts, kits, or even hazmat materials. Like
all of our CribMaster point-of-use devices, the employee is
required to identify himself or herself. The door unlocks and
inside are shelves that contain the items they need to complete
their task. Each item is identified with a passive Gen2 RFID tag
and when the item is removed, inventory is automatically
adjusted and monitored through CribMaster.
AccuCab Functions, Features, and Benefits:
Simple “plug and play” self contained RFID device (COTS)
Touch screen control allows for User ID log in
Configurable shelving to accommodate different size items
Total kit tracking and replenishment process tracking
Lot number and expiration date tracking and notification
Ability to remove an entire bin of items and retain high
accuracy

CribMaster Hybrid AccuCab
The Hybrid AccuCab is a point-of-use device that combines two
of the most cutting edge technologies, the scale-and-bin
technology as used in the Weigh Station and RFID as used in
the AccuCab. Our goal was to create a dual solution by
combining multiple tracking methods to accurately manage
both bench stock, MRO, PPE, and other consumables and
durable types of inventories all in a single device. This point-ofuse device allows the ability to easily retrieve bench stock such
as fasteners and bolts and to track issues and returns of
serialized and durable items all with a high level of accuracy.
When a user walks up to the Hybrid AccuCab, he or she must
identify themselves prior to the door being unlocked. They can
do this by using a touch screen monitor mounted on the door or
with a barcode or proximity badge scan. Once the door is
unlocked, the user opens the door to find bulk inventory in bins
and inventory (that is tagged using Passive Gen2 Tags) on
adjustable shelving. The user removes the inventory and shuts
the door. The inventory is automatically adjusted and the
inventory is properly accounted.
Hybrid AccuCab Functions, Features, and Benefits:
Simple “plug and play” self contained RFID device (COTS)
Touch screen control allows for User ID log in
Configurable shelving to accommodate different size items
Lot number and expiration date tracking and notification
Ability to monitor a bin of items and retain high accuracy

CribMaster AccuPort
Imagine your employees walk up to a caged area containing
tools, MRO items, safety products, maintenance parts, or any
indirect material used to keep your facility going. As they enter
the doorway, their name badge is read from wherever they may
have it on their person. Their name sounds off audibly, the door
is unlocked (given they have permission to enter the crib), and
they enter to retrieve their items. The employee gathers all the
needed items, presses the exit button to unlock the door, and
walks back through the AccuPort which records the transaction
for each item as they walk away.
Your employees don’t have to scan, vend, or even concern
themselves with any aspect of retrieving items other than
carrying them through the port. Everything is done automatically,
in real time, and will continue to contain all of the features that
CribMaster applies to any inventory item. Serialized items,
durable items, expendable items, kits and assemblies,
maintenance parts, or inventory assigned to a work order...it’s
just another way to issue items to employees and cost centers...
except this one is hands free!
AccuPort Functions, Features, and Benefits:
Touch screen control allows for non-auto ID log in
Electromagnetically controlled door with a lock that
withstands 600lbs of pressure
Digital photo capture available for improved management
Multiple cage sizes and label packages
Easily expandable cage sections to increase storage
capability
Automatic RFID identification of employee and items

The system uses CribMaster software and may be used in front of a caged/fenced area or in front of a tool room/store
room door. The AccuPort reads passive RFID labels or tags applied to the inventory with the 3 RFID readers which are
mounted in the walls of the AccuPort. Any item that has the label attached will be read and the transaction recorded with
CribMaster software as it passes through the portal. The type of item is not important, only the tag affixed to the item is
used to determine what item was removed, returned, or restocked inside the crib. Many types of inventory can be
managed effectively with the CribMaster software including; expendable, durable, serialized, gauges, reworkable, hazmat,
etc. CribMaster has auto replenishment features and can communicate with most purchasing systems via a flat file export.
• ATR - Automated Tool Room - Touch Screen included - includes one Admin module
• 500 RFID Tags included - these are reusable and may be assigned to other items
• RFID tags may be affixed to individual tools directly or smaller items may be placed in RFID containers/packages
(reusable)
• Each employee would have an RFID badge - as they come through the portal into the crib, they will automatically be
welcomed by name and the item with the RFID tag taken from the crib will be tracked automatically by CribMaster
• Technical Support for one year is included
• CribMaster Cameras also available - images may be viewed in real time or viewed later as stored images directly from
your PC, as an added security measure. CribMaster Cameras may be configured for images to be taken as frequently
as every 30 seconds

CribMaster AccuDrawer
Imagine your employees walk up to a cabinet that stores
tooling, maintenance parts, kits or even hazmat materials. Like
all of our CribMaster point-of-use devices, the employee is
required to identify himself or herself. The drawer unlocks using
an electromagnetic lock and inside are the items they need to
complete their task. Each item is identified with a passive Gen2
RFID tag or the location is monitored with a patented RFID
switch. When the item is removed, inventory is automatically
adjusted and monitored through CribMaster.
The AccuDrawer is a great solution for managing kits at pointof-use, tracking the usage of durable items, tracking maintenance
items to work orders and tasks, and monitoring of inventory in
FOD critical areas. There is no inventory to scan or transactions
to log. Transactions are automatically recorded when inventory
is removed from the cabinet and when items are missing from
the cabinet the touch screen displays “items out” on the ATR
screen, making FOD checks easy, fast, and accurate.
AccuDrawer Functions, Features, and Benefits:

Cabinets
Each cabinet starts with one of four cabinet housing sizes.
Housings are available in four heights. Each height receives a
model number:
33” high - Model 175
37” high - Model 200
44” high - Model 245
59” high - Model 340
So if you need a Standard cabinet that is 59 in. high, the model
number for the cabinet would be Standard cabinet Model 340.
Drawers
The next step to building a cabinet is the drawers. Like the model
number given to each housing height, the drawers also have
model numbers ranging from Model 20 up to Model 90. Each
drawer model number represents a different drawer height. First
choose one of the 4 standard height cabinets and make note of
the model number. If you add up all the drawer model numbers
for each cabinet, the sum total must equal the cabinet height
model number. Thus, if you have a standard cabinet Model 340
(59” high) with the below seven drawer model numbers, the sum
total of those drawer model numbers should equal the 340
Model number used for the height of the cabinet. If the total sum
of the drawer model numbers does not equal the cabinet height
model number, then the drawers will not fit in the cabinet
housing. (see below)

L a s t Po i n t Read System
CribMaster Last Point Read (LPR)
Do you need to take your CribMaster RFID solution one step
farther? Do you need additional accountability for your indirect
materials and mobile assets? Do you want to track and monitor
tools as they move through your facility so that you can reduce
search time if certain items go missing? We have the solution!
If you need to take your AccuCab, AccuDrawer, or AccuPort to
the next level, the CribMaster LPR system is for you. CribMaster
LPR attached to any of our RFID devices allows you to easily
monitor tools or other mobile assets as they move through your
facility. The idea is simple. With any of our CribMaster RFID
devices, we trigger transactions at the time of issue, which may
include up to 6 user-defined cost centers. With this we may
know you were taking inventory to a certain department for a
certain job, but we really don’t know if it ever made it. What if it
didn’t? Where was it last seen? By strategically placing
CribMaster LPR stations in walkways across your facility, we
now know a little more about where that inventory has been and
where it may be currently.
For high accountability environments like aerospace
manufacturing, food manufacturing, aircraft maintenance and
more, the CribMaster LPR is the next step to improving
processes.
LPR Functions, Features, and Benefits:
Track tools and other mobile assets across your facility
Determine where they were last seen, who had them, and
which direction they were moving
Reduce search times for tools and assets dramatically
Increase accountability
Stop tool and inventory floating and hoarding

R F I D S c a nner & Near Field Reader s
CribMaster RFID Scanner & Near Field Readers
Finding a Specific Serialized Item
Oftentimes the process you establish to maintain your RFID
installation requires the need for mobility. Let’s face it, sometimes
managing inventory requires the ability to perform tasks outside
of a portal or cabinet. In this case, we have worked with
Motorola to provide an RFID scanner that is driven by
CribMaster and allows you to perform multiple functions while
away from the crib, storeroom, or point-of-use device. We also
provide unique near field RFID readers that enable remote tag
assignment.
The scanner can be used to locate a specific tag. This can be
valuable in areas sensitive to FOD regulations or where locating
assets is critical. CribMaster will recognize that a particular
serialized item is missing. An operator can move the scanner
systematically through an area until the reader detects the tag
and sounds an alarm. Imagine trying to find a small gauge
somewhere inside a plane’s fuselage or a misplaced piece of
inventory from a warm crib in a nuclear power generation
facility.
Assigning Tags
Cycle Counting an AccuPort Crib/Store Room
Prior to the scanner or the near field readers, users of the
AccuPort, AccuCab, and AccuDrawer devices could only
assign tags through ATR using the RFID reader built into the
devices. While the operators are using the devices to assign
the tags, the devices are not available for normal ISSUE
transactions. Equipment out on the shop floor had to be
transported to the device for the assignment process and to
determine if the tag was affixed in a readable manner. With the
scanner and the near field reader the assignment process can
be done in any location. So items can be tagged in an office or
out on the shop floor and the CribMaster RFID devices are not
interrupted.
An AccuPort crib or store room might hold thousands of tagged
items. Periodically the items should be physically counted. The
scanner can be used in conjunction with CribMaster’s cycle
counting software to count an entire crib just by moving the
reader though the crib in a systematic fashion. The reader
provides audible and visual indications of how many unique
tags have been read. The tags are summarized by item and the
quantities are entered on the Cycle Counting tables in the
CribMaster database for review.
Testing Tags
This function provides an indication that the tag is affixed in an
RFID friendly manner. If the scanner can read an applied tag
easily then the RFID used in the AccuPort, AccuCab, or
AccuDrawer should be able to read the tag.
