PRESIDENT’S
LETTER
The leaves are turning, the kids have returned to school, and the Visionaries are back in the swing of things
starting their 25th year! Visionaries support arts education, and thanks to a dynamic and talented board,
activities are already underway for an active arts year.
September has already started as an exciting month. On September 8th, Marsha Anderson and Toni
Berlinger arranged for a day at LACMA. The exhibit which included Van Gogh, Cezanne, Kandinsky and
more was truly remarkable. Lunch that followed was perfectly selected for us, and these mighty two have
already planned another excursion in October. September 9th was no less exciting with a curated tour of our
Museum’s new exhibit followed by lunch with our new director & CEO, Todd D. Smith. Don’t miss this
exhibit, as it really focuses on artists who were cutting edge in their day. By the way, a catalogue is available
to each Visionaries member in the bookstore.

committee reports, it was very clear that this is a strong, talented, and knowledgeable board. They have lots
of great ideas, and best of all, are committed to expanding the arts education of the Visionaries. Thank you
