finials and accessories, handcrafted in England by Alison
Davies. Available in 40mm, 50mm and 63mm diameters all
with matching holdbacks.

Standard Colours
Choose from any of our standard colours. Slight colour variation may occur on individual items due to the finishing process. The
colours reproduced in this brochure are as accurate as the printing process will allow. For exact colours please request samples.
Orders are usually despatched within 28 days. We recommend seeing actual samples of the colour prior to ordering.
Solid Colours - Painted Unaged
Unaged colours are supplied without any aging or antiquing. The finish is a semi matt/eggshell finish
All White
Almost white with a soft creamy tone
making this white delicate and pretty.
Hayloft
A deep rich cream with warm brown
tones. Slight hint of yellow.
Pointing
A warm, soft off white with a slight
creamy tint.
Cornforth White
French Grey colour.
Eggshell
A darker white with a hint of
green. A Cold Colour.
Stony Ground
Almost stone like. A mixture of
taupes and greys. Popular when
used with linens.
New White
Pretty delicate cream with a slight
hint of brown. A useful cream.
Ebony
Semi matt/satin black- not as harsh
or as shiny as gloss black.
Wood Stain
Chestnut
A warm, deep coloured wood similar
to a light Mahogany with plenty of
depth of colour.
Hints of orange and brown.
Finish is similar to French Polish.
Medium Oak
A warm medium oak.
Finish is similar to French Polish.
Rich in colour and darker than
Chestnut.
Strong dark brown tones.
Wood Stain
Our woodstain is applied by hand and therefore we strike the grain
causing variation in the colour of the wood to be visible thus avoiding a
“plastic” appearance. We then seal the stain and hand finish all items. As
a consquence no two items are exactly the same and colour samples can
vary in colour. Please be aware of this when ordering.
Painted Aged Colours/Antiqued Colours

from our solid colour range
of standard colours and then
they have been hand aged
with an aging solution to
create texture and add more
Chalk
depth. The look is slightly “old” All White lightly aged to create a

New White lightly aged. Warm and Hayloft lightly aged. Deep and very Cornforth White lightly aged. An old Stony Ground lightly aged. Very
simple. The perfect cream. A pretty creamy. Hints of brown & yellow.

Metallic finishes are a mid

Fools Gold & Bronze are

shimmery finish. Slight pink tint. with a
subtle raw umber antique finish
Fools Gold
Green coloured Gold with a raw umber
antique finish.
Antique Silver*
A strong bright silver with a light black
antique finish.
Bronze
Old Gold
A warm aubergine bronze with hints of A rich dark brown based gold lightly aged
silver.
with a black patina.
Moon*
A rich dark brown based metallic with
a shimmery finish. Lightly aged to give
subtle texture.
Graphite*
Dark graphite colour with a shimmery
finish. Finished with a soft black patina.

Non-Standard Colours
Ordering Non-Standard colours
If you can not find a suitable choice of colour from our standard colour range then we also offer a non-standard colour service.
Choose any colours from either Farrow & Ball, Zoffany or The Little Greene Paint Company.
We shall purchase the paint or you can send it to us. As a general rule we require 1ltr waterbased eggshell for every two pole sets....
If you require highlights on finials only 1 x sample pot is required per colour.
All orders are painted to order, specific to your requirements and in the colour of your choice.
