ROLO TOMASSI
ETERNAL YOUTH
Essential Music / PUNK
Rolo Tomassi are pleased to announce the release of
Eternal Youth, an anthology collection of rare and nonalbum material, which will be the first original release on
Destination Moon, the band’s own label. The 36 track
collection brings together material from the last six years
including original demo recordings, songs that were
released exclusively via tape and songs that were previously only available through their recent Subs Club.
The double CD and digital versions of Eternal Youth will
be released on July 8 2011 on Destination Moon through
Shock. Destination Moon released the re-press of the
band’s debut album Hysterics last year, but this will be
the first original release through the label.
“You can hear the first songs we recorded six years ago,
right up to the last tracks we did in August last year. This
release serves to make all our material available once
again and to also give you some idea of how our band’s
sound has changed and developed over the six years
we’ve been together.” James Spence

‘Somewhere In London’ was filmed over the final 2 nights of the ‘Somewhere
Else’ album tour at the London Forum in June 2007. Directed and edited by

sound, mixed by Michael Hunter.
This new 2DVD Madfish edition of the album is packed in a deluxe 36 page
digibook re-worked by original designer Carl Glover.

MARILLION.COM
The second disc also features content which has previously only been available through the band’s own website.
SNAPPER MUSIC / ROCK
Marillion formed in 1979 and
have sold over 15 million albums worldwide. Rightly regarded as legends of progressive rock, the band have also
continued to evolve and have
been keen to embrace the possibilities of the internet, using
innovative ways to interact
with listeners resulting in an
incredibly loyal legion of fans
around the world.
1999’s Marillion.com was
one of the first of these internet
based promotions as the band
used the web to ask for fans to
send them passport pictures of
themselves and 732 of these
were then used to make up the
artwork for the album. 5 of the
9 tracks were mixed by Steven
Wilson from Porcupine Tree.
For this new edition on the
Madfish label, the album is
packed in a deluxe 36 page
digibook.
To celebrate the chart success of the current
album ‘Little Hell’, we have dropped the PPD
on all City And Colour catalogue titles!
Please also note the price drop on any future orders
for ‘Little Hell’. (All PPDs are pre-dist.fee & GST)

STRUNG OUT
TOP CONTENDERS
FAT WRECK RECORDS / PUNK
Often cited as one of Fat
Wreck Chords’ flagship
bands, STRUNG OUT have
cemented their prominence
in the punk scene through
their influential and constantly
progressive sound.
Over the course of their
storied 20 years as a band
they have spawned countless
imitators, but none have been
able to emulate STRUNG
OUT’s scorching blend of
aggressive metal riffs and
captivating melodies.
With 7 full-lengths, 2 EPs,
a live album, and a b-sides
album to their credit, the
band’s catalog is formidable,
to say the least. With this in
mind, and conscious of the
fact that they are consistently
welcoming new fans into the
fold, STRUNG OUT decided it
was high time to put together

ALL TOMORROW’S PARTIES

SHOCK/ ALTERNATIVE
Warp Films present a
kaleidoscopic journey into
the parallel musical universe
of cult music festival All
Tomorrow’s Parties, featuring
a veritable who’s who of the
indie music world.

camp on the coast of England,
All Tomorrow’s Parties serves
up a heady combination of

by a single band or artist.
This post-punk DIY bricolage
uses material generated
by the fans and musicians
themselves, on a multitude
of formats including Super8,
camcorder and mobile phone
material, over the history of
the festival, to capture the
uncompromising spirit of this
unique festival.

Is there any truth to your band name? Are you heroes and are
you up for hire?
Well, one time on tour we drove past a nuclear power plan
and… ok, that didn’t happen. Nah, we are far from Heroes. The
only thing we are capable of doing is drinking large amounts of
alcohol and eating a lot of cheeseburgers, so if you need either
of those things done then we’re more than happy to be hired.
What’s the inside of your tour van like? Are you a neat band?
To be honest, we have one of the most luxury tour vans in
Australia haha. Thanks to our drummer Lee (without him we’d
probably still be stuck on the side of the road somewhere), it
has a plasma TV, double bunk beds so we’re pretty lucky. In saying that, put 5 or 6 dudes in a van for any period of time and it’ll
get messy, not to mention the smell!
What’s the craziest thing that’s ever happened to you on stage?
I wouldn’t say it’s too crazy or anything, but on our last tour
(with Unwritten Law) we made our new bass player Potter drink
a whole beer out of my shoe on stage. This shoe has been worn
without socks for months and smelled horrible, but that’s what
you get for being the new guy.
