A Delicious Season
FALL EDITION
of Color
DOOR COUNTY’S LIMESTONE BASE is one of the reasons that our trees become so colorful in the
fall. Little Sweden becomes a cornucopia of color each September through November. Our warm
weather in September slowed the color, but made for some great late summer days.
We are already making plans for our late fall and holiday season at Hedemora Hills and Little
Sweden. We have some fun winter activities planned for you during what I feel is the best time to
be in Door County. We also have bargain rental rates to entice you and your friends to spend extra time at Little Sweden.
Be sure to schedule your time here this fall or winter. There’s nothing better than a Little
Sweden/Hedemora Hills getaway!

NEW CONSTRUCTION
We are excited to announce that we will be starting construction of a new “single family” condominium home on lot 34 in Hedemora Hills. This new home has an awesome location, with a woodland view and a rock ledge accent on one side. The new single family two bedroom, two bathroom
Lappland condominium unit will feature everything on one floor with a walkout four season sunroom and a two car garage. This home will have all our standard high quality construction features
on one level.
Portside Properties, our builder since the beginning,
will handle construction details. Brian Reinhardt of
True North Realty in Fish Creek (920-868-2828) is in
charge of sales.

Dining in
Door County
Fall in Door Count y m ean s an
explosion of color and gorgeous
scenery. As with the seasons,
change is inevitable and exciting,
even when it comes to dining!
Everyone has their favorite restaurants in Door
County. However, restaurants come and go in Door
County. Last year we lost The Inn at Kristofer’s.
This year we are losing “136” in Sturgeon Bay. New
owners take over and we then have new exciting
choices.
For example, T. Ashwell’s in Ellison Bay closed and
now we have great reviews for The Wickman
House. The Fireside in Ellison Bay is drawing
kudos. It was formerly Pasta Vino. Pasta Vino is
now located at Maxwelton Braes in Baileys Harbor,
as is the Sandpiper Restaurant.
The Common House closed after many years and
is now Chives. Chives has taken their great Green
Bay reputation and also moved it to Baileys Harbor.
The old standbys, such as The White Gull Inn,
Al Johnson’s, Donny’s Glidden Lodge and Mr. G’s
keep going year after year.
There are a lot of restaurants that stay open yearround. To find restaurant hours, just call our front
desk at Little Sweden. We want to be your Door
County concierge when you’re at Hedemora Hills or
Little Sweden!
Enjoy!

IT HAS BEEN A BUSY and successful year
to date! We've accomplished some major
projects: Renovation of the North Recreation
Center outdoor pool and whirlpool; repair of
the north tennis court retaining wall; repair of
the pond from the damage of last year's major
storm; etc. We've updated furniture, mattresses and flooring in many units and continue to
do that throughout the remainder of this year
and into the coming year. We've begun a major renovation to our landscaping - you'll see a
big difference at the Village and our main entrance area. We've updated our sheets and
towels, and we've brought back a choice of
three daily newspapers that are for sale in our
main reception area.
We will be upgrading our internet service with
major improvements in place by January
2016. As our current phone system is outdated, we will be implementing upgrades in 2016.
Our TripAdvisor and Facebook pages have
been revamped. We've seen significant activity and success on both. Our social media
presence is excellent and we've maintained a
top rating on TripAdvisor throughout the year.
The Little Sweden website will undergo a
facelift and reorganization this winter, with
new and easier access for owners and guests.
Our occupancy was up quite a bit through our
busiest season as compared to the same time
last year. We have an extra week #53 this
year with a special deal on rates for our owners and guests. We continue to focus on customer service and the owner/guest experience
as a number one priority.
It has been a busy and rewarding 6+ months
for me as a new General Manager. I get to
work with a great team at the best resort in
Door County! I look forward to seeing you at
our annual Owners' Reception and Meeting in
November! Vi ses snart (see you soon)!

YOUR MANAGEMENT COMPANY
In addition to being the developers of Little Sweden and Hedemora Hills, Hedeen Properties, is
also your management company. Kay and I supervise all of the administration, activities and
general management at Little Sweden. As the developers of The Rushes we have also managed
The Rushes. Last year I resigned as President of The Rushes Association and we have also
severed our management ties with The Rushes and our previous manager.
I can unequivocally say that this decision and the unanimous actions by your Board of Directors
have made Little Sweden and Hedemora Hills stronger and will increase the quality of our resort
for years to come.
Also if you are considering the purchase of additional weeks in Door County, I strongly
urge you to buy at Little Sweden/Shell Vacations/Wyndham Resorts at Fish Creek in Door
County.
We are the rock in the timeshare industry that can give you security and confidence in the future
that few other resorts can offer. Our partnership with Shell/Wyndham has proved invaluable.
Hedeen Properties provides you with 35 years of timeshare development and management
experience. Wyndham Resorts is the largest timeshare company in the world. We make a great
team! Call Tom Moeller at 920-743-4321 for current sales listings.
