Guangzhou with a visit to Art 64, a
contemporary art gallery. Showcasing local
abstract artists, it’s a great opportunity to see
how the present day China differs from the
days of Cultural Revolution.
Interested in how the locals live? Hit the
streets surrounding Li Wan Park, in the west
of the city, and engross yourself in the narrow
alley-ways and bustling markets. A fascinating
place to wander through, away from the usual
tourist sites.
Possibly the best Yum Cha you will ever eat
in your life is in Guangzhou. Go to Tao Tao lu
restaurant, do prepared for a bit of a wait at
lunchtime - but it’s well worth the wait.
