MARIPOSA OPERA HOUSE
DESTROYED BY FIRE
The Mariposa Opera House, long an old firetrap,
was totally destroyed by fire between the hours
of 5 and 6 o'clock Thursday evening. With the
Opera House went the building of Larew
Brothers…

Donald Rowland

alumnus.

contract to
C. Chiappa for
$11,307 to be
completed in 90
days
In August 1917, the Contractor Abandoned the Job.
But it was completed enough to start school in
