The Golf Club at Fossil Creek boasts a tremendously varied
layout designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. It features
gently rolling hills, limestone-banked creeks, sparkling lakes
and tall stands of oak and pecan trees. Serving as development,
construction and asset manager for the project, Woodbine
worked with Palmer’s architects to preserve the grandeur of
the land, all while creating a thoroughly challenging course
renowned for its beauty. Golfers noticed: Fossil Creek was
nominated as one of America’s best new resort courses in 1988.
The course is a central feature of the Woodbine-developed
1,150-acre Fossil Creek community.

to an affiliate of ClubCorp International. In 2002, it was sold to EAGL (Evergreen Alliance Golf, Ltd.). Woodbine
continues as asset manager of the remaining land parcels available for purchase in Fossil Creek, as well as manager of
the Fossil Creek Property Owners Association.
