Open helmet to its last setting and position on the head so the rim is one finger width above the eyebrow.
Gradually begin to downsize the helmet until a comfortable, snug fit is achieved.

FACEMASK SIZING
•
The facemask should fit snugly to the chin. If it is too long, it may come into contact with nose and mouth during impact.
•
When the player’s mouth is closed, the chin should fit comfortably into the chin-cup. Attach the facemask securely to the
helmet according to instructions provided within the product’s packaging.

NECTECH® SIZING
• Neck guards are designed to protect the throat area from lacerations and cuts - they are not designed to protect
against spinal injuries.
• The neck guard should be snug but not uncomfortable or tight. It should completely cover the throat,
and with the bib style, the upper chest area.

JOCK SIZING
• Measure the player’s waist. Select the Jock which corresponds to the list below. The Jock must fit snugly
to ensure the cup does not move out of place.

SHOULDER PAD/CHEST PROTECTOR SIZING
• Measure the player’s chest just below the arm pits. Refer to the sizing list below to determine the corresponding
shoulder pad/chest protector size.
• A player should have good range of motion while wearing a shoulder pad/chest protector. To test range of motion, lift arms above
shoulder height - ensure the pads do not dig into neck.
Youth: X-Small: 20 -22"

SHIN GUARD SIZING
• Ensure that the cap of the shin guard is centered on the knee cap. The calf padding should wrap around the lower leg.
• Measure from the center of the knee cap to the top of the skate boot. Match the player’s shin size to the inches
of the shin guards.
Youth: 7 1/2", 8 1/2", 9 1/2"
Junior: 10 1/2", 12", 13"
Senior: 14", 15", 16", 17"
ELBOW PAD SIZING
• The top of the elbow pad should meet the bottom of the arm of the shoulder pad and extend down the forearm to
the top of the glove.
• The elbow pad should not restrict movement of the elbow. With the elbow pads on, test the range of motion by bending
the arm at the elbow, watching for restriction.
Junior: Medium, Large

GLOVE SIZING
• Gloves should fit like loose winter gloves over the fingers. The top of the glove needs to extend up to the forearm
and meet the bottom of the elbow pads (except short-cuff fit).
• The glove should offer freedom of movement in all positions without chaffing or restricting movement.
Measure the distance between the fingertips and the elbow pad to determine glove size.
Senior: 13.5"(short-cuff ), 14", 15"
Intermediate: 12", 13"
