The mission of SWMBIA’s 2011 Home Expo is to promote and strengthen the local home building industry. Our focus
is not profit but to provide all participating exhibitors and attendees a unique and positive view of the small
businesses that make up our industry. Our volunteer committee works hard to ensure exhibitors have the best
opportunity to promote their businesses and the building industry.
Townsquare Media has extended all participating businesses in the SWMBIA Home Expo an affordable and
effective marketing opportunity to promote their business while promoting the 2011 Home Expo. Great ad
rates are available for all Townsquare Media radio stations and require only a brief tag line for the Home

2011 Home Expo. On Friday, March 25th judges from SWMBIA will evaluate and recognize the Top 3 best designed
booths. First place will receive a complementary booth to 2012 Home Expo and recognition.
EXPO Passport A GREAT Way to Attract
Exhibitors will have the option of participating in the Home Expo Passport which will be presented to all attendees.
Attendees who visit all 12 participating booths and have their passport stamped will automatically be entered to win
a fabulous prize at the conclusion of the Home Expo. The cost to have your company logo on the PASSPORT is only
$200.

The members of the Southwest Montana Building Industry strive to make the Gallatin Valley a great place to live,
work and play. The 2011 Home Expo is unique in that it is the only Home Expo committed to showcasing the building
industry AND improving our community.
Playhouses on Parade….
A major attraction to the 2011 Home Expo will once again be the Playhouses on Parade. These creative and well-built
playhouses are a popular and unique attraction that the public has come to expect. Raffle tickets are available by
calling the SWMBIA office at 585.8181

From the Kid’s Activity Area to checking out the vehicles and large equipment, there will be many options to keep kids
and kids at heart engaged during the Home Expo. Build something fun Saturday, March 26th at Kenyon Noble Lumber

RULES & REGULATIONS
1.
Space: The contracted space must be used solely by the exhibitor whose name appears on the contract. No portion may be sublet or
assigned. Each exhibitor must be in place and ready for business at least one-half hour prior to
the show open on the first day of the show. All booths to be staffed during show hours and
removal of goods prior to show closing is prohibited.
2.
Exhibitors, must, at their own expense, keep their spaces cleaned and their exhibit in good order.
3.
Exhibit Content and Manner of Use: The HOME EXPO Committee reserves the right to make
decisions relative to show content and reserves the right to reject exhibitor which deems
detrimental or not specifically appropriate to the HOME EXPO.
4.
No exhibit will be permitted until booth fee is paid in full.
5.
Eventualities: The HOME EXPO Committee shall not be liable for any damages or expenses
incurred exhibitors in the event the show is delayed, interrupted or not held as scheduled. If any
reason beyond the control of the Committee the show is not held, the Committee may retain as
much of the amount paid by exhibitors as is necessary to defray expenses already incurred.
6.
Liability: Neither the Southwest Montana Building Industry Association (SWMBIA), the members,
officers, directors, employees, and the HOME EXPO Committee, will be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur to the
exhibitor, or to the exhibitor’s employee or property from any cause whatsoever, prior, during, or following the period covered by the exhibit
contract. The exhibitor, on signing the contract and rules and regulations form, expressly releases the above-mentioned Association,
individuals, committee, and management from any and all claims for such loss, damage, or injury.
7.
Each exhibitor is responsible for any damage he/she or his/her employees may cause to the premises of the MSU Brick Breeden Fieldhouse or
SWMBIA or other show suppliers.
8.
Amendments: The HOME EXPO Committee shall have full power to interpret and so make or amend these rules. Wherever the rules do not
cover, the HOME EXPO Committee reserves the right to make such rulings as may appear to be in the best interest of the Show, and the
exhibitor agrees to accept and abide by such rulings.
9.
There will be NO hired security provided by SWMBIA, however, doors to the arena will be locked during non-Home Expo hours. It is advised
that exhibitors remove any items of value at the end of each day of the Home Expo. Management and the HOME EXPO will not be liable for
any loss.
10. Failure to comply with the above stated rules (1-9) may result in suspension from future SWMBIA shows and/or functions.
