1. Enlarge the filling hole sufficiently to accept the steel filling tube using the screw provided.
(See diagram above). IMPORTANT: DO NOT REMOVE TOP.
2. Fill syringe with ink, insert the steel filling tube into the filling hole and push downwards into the
centre of the sponge.
3. SLOWLY inject ink, when the ink overflows from filling hole cartridge is full. Stop injecting ink
immediately. DO NOT reseal filling hole.
IMPORTANT: Clean syringe with water and dry.
4. Leave cartridge to stand overnight on a protective, non-absorbent surface, this will ensure no
leakage and give the ink time to fully saturate the sponge.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT LEAVE ON TISSUE.
5. Install cartridge and run a priming cycle.
(When installing the cartridge the printer may ask if the cartridge is NEW or OLD cartridge.
click on NEW to reset the printer)
IMPORTANT: For best results, refill whilst ink still remains in cartridge.
Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.

1. The filler holes are located under the coloured top of the cartridge. This top needs to be
removed before filling. Use a penknife or Stanley knife to break the seal by carefully scoring
around all four edges of seal. (Colour & Photo cartridge only)
2. Assemble syringe and steel filling tube and fill with appropriate colour ink.
3. Insert the steel filling tube into the appropriate filling hole. (See diagram above).
Push downwards into the centre of the sponge.
IMPORTANT: Cartridge contains a sponge and a slight resistance may be felt.
4. SLOWLY inject ink. When ink overflows from filling hole or starts to leak from print heads,
cartridge is full. Stop injecting immediately. Blot printer head with tissue before continuing to fill
next colour.
IMPORTANT: Clean syringe with water and dry before refilling next colour.
5. After refilling reseal the top. The best way to secure the top is to stick tape from one side, over
the top and down the opposite side.
6. Leave cartridge to stand overnight on a protective, non-absorbent surface, this will ensure no
leakage and give the ink time to fully saturate the sponge.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT LEAVE ON TISSUE.
7. Install cartridge and run a priming cycle.
(When installing the cartridge the printer may ask if the cartridge is a NEW or OLD
cartridge. click on NEW to reset the printer)
