This is the true story of a man of the name Soloman Northup who was born in 1808 in Minerva, New York as a free

Friday, May 30, 2014 from 10 AM –3 PM: Festive Fridays
are back and are now held throughout the year on the last
Friday of every month! Stop in the LELA Office to grab a
treat, network with other members and ask any burning
questions you have about the Landlording Business! We
are here to serve you.
Recent, Local Severe Storms Made a Big Splash
We recently saw a storm that caused flooding and some of the worst water
we have ever had. It was speculated that Northeast Ohio saw four inches of
rain per hour one day. LELA Members reported water in many of their homes
which led to repairs and other expenses, such as hot water tanks. One member noted they had to repair three hot water tanks while another larger landlord said they had 35 hot water tanks out.
Al Palowski, a local landlord (and owner of C&L Carpet Cleaning), who also

thing I have to tell landlords is to know your insurance and to make sure you
communicate properly to your insurance company what happened so you can be covered,” said Palowski.

How do you think the landlording business has changed from now to when you first got started
No one wants to give you a nickel to fix anything. If you buy it and it needs to be fixed they don't want it and are not
interested. They want it completely updated. And then of course the market is such that if you want to sell you can’t
