There’s a lot more to building a superior-performing driveshaft than hanging a couple weld yokes
on a piece of tubing. That’s why Mark Williams Enterprises has made a substantial investment in
exclusive, state-of-the-art equipment. M-W’s unique Torsional Testing Device is used to develop and
test components at loads in excess of 20,000 foot pounds torque. Not only has this enabled M-W’s
engineering team to design improved yokes, U-joints and specialized companion flange setups, but
the device is also used to test and validate assembly procedures. And in addition to ultimate load
tests, the computer-controlled TTD is used to perform extensive cycle testing on M-W driveshafts
and related components. All Duralcan MMC shafts are load and cycle tested prior to shipping.
Mark Williams also has a sophisticated “Driveshaft Dyno” that is used to balance each and every
driveshaft the firm produces. This device is capable of simulating actual operating conditions in
terms of loading, and replicating angles that transmission and differential universal joint operate
at. This high speed device can balance driveshafts at speeds to 10,000 RPM. It’s important to note
that a high-speed, load-simulated balanced driveshaft provides important performance and
reliability benefits by reducing the radial force power required to turn the shaft (making better use
of HP) and prolongs transmission and rear end life through reducing harmonics. Clearly, nobody
builds a better quality driveshaft than Mark Williams!

M-W Has Transmission & Pinion Yokes For All Popular Applications!
Designed for use with 1350-series U-joints, M-W’s wide range of 4340 forged steel transmission yokes includes “standard”
heavy-duty models, specially hardened yokes designed for use with roller bearing tailhousing-equipped transmissions
(Liberty, G-Force, Jerico and PG), along with the innovative “Rapid Release” yokes with removable U-joint caps, which
facilitates faster transmission changes. Applications include:
• B-W Super T-10 (32-spline)
• G-Force (16-spline)
• Chevy Powerglide (27-spline)*
• G-Force (32-spline)*
• Chrysler - Manual (30-spline)
• GM TH-350 (27-spline)
• Chrys. – Torqueflite 904 (25-spline)
• GM TH-400 (32-spline)
• Doug Nash (30-spline)
• Jerico (32-spline)*
• Ford C-4 (28-spline)
• Lenco (16-spline)
• Ford C-6 (31 spline)
• Lenco (32-spline)
• Ford – Manual/Toploader (31-spline)
• Liberty (30-spline)*
M-W also has a full compliment of pinion yokes. These include those manufactured from rugged 4340 alloy steel forgings,
lightweight 7075-T6 billet aluminum, and titanium. The yokes are precision CNC-machined, and come complete with
provisions for attaching computer pick-up rings (compatable with most popular data logging systems and available
separately from M-W), they’re available for all popular rear end housings, including:
• Dana “60”
• Ford 8.8"
• Ford 9"
• GM 10-bolt
• GM 12-bolt
• Mopar 8-3/4"
