Hi Everyone,
Spring is here and with that goes weeds, mowing, fleas, and
training your pups for field work. Our Club is looking to host
it's annual Working Certificate (W.C.) June 5th and will be
looking for volunteers for the job. It's a fun event that is low
key and easy and a good place for new members to get their
feet wet with field work. See information in this Newsletter
regarding this event. We Thank Dan and Deb Neal for Hosting
this event for our Club yet another year! See more information later on cost of entries and exact location on Sauvie Island.
May will bring our B-Match which is a good way to get your
newest puppies out and teach them about showing. This year
will bring us a new location as our old "Fenchman's Bar" Park is
not available this year with new park fees. Scott and Judy
Chambers have generously agreed to allow us to use there
home for this event. Thank you to the Chambers! If you have
any questions regarding this event, feel free to contact Cindy
Freeman and or Cathy Hakola.
The Big show and obedience trial is coming up this next week in
April back in Maryland. The Potomac Lab Specilaty is a huge
event and the largest Lab Specialty in the world. We always
have some club members who make the track back east and so
we wish you good luck and safe travel
