Divine Mercy Sunday is a very special
Sunday when the Divine Floodgates from
Heaven are wide-opened and Jesus offers
us the total forgiveness of all sins and
punishment to any soul, who goes to
Confession and receives Him in Holy Communion, on
that day. This plenary indulgence is granted (under the
usual conditions of a sacramental confession, Eucharistic
communion and a prayer for the intentions of the
Supreme Pontiff) to the faithful who, on Divine Mercy
Sunday, in a spirit that is completely detached from the
affection for a sin, even a venial sin, recite the Our Father
and the Creed, and also adding a devout prayer (e.g.
Merciful Jesus, I trust in you!).
On Divine Mercy Sunday, our three communities come
together as one parish in a tri-lingual celebration that will
focus on the virtue of trust starting at 3:00 p.m.
Confessions will be heard by our three priests beginning
at 2:00 p.m. This celebration includes Exposition of the
Blessed Sacrament, a sung recitation of the Divine Mercy
Chaplet, alternating readings from Pope Francis on the
Year of Mercy and Saint Faustina’s Diary, and a blessing
of Divine Mercy images. Don't miss out on the many
blessings the devotion to Divine Mercy has to offer
everyone. Come and join us!

Help Feed Our Teens!
We need parents to help with Life Teen and EDGE meal
preparation this semester. Meals are an important part of
our ministry because, just as Jesus shared a meal with his
friends and disciples, so too, would we like to share a
meal together! A sign-up genius can be found at
www.saintjudeyouth.com which includes the suggested
menu for the evening. Thank you for supporting our
ministry!
Our Ave Maria shop has supplies and gifts for First

Palm Sunday - Holy Land Collection
Pray Them Home Ministry
All Masses - This Weekend
The Pray Them Home meeting originally scheduled
for Thursday, March 24, has been cancelled due to the
Holy Thursday Mass of Our Lord's Supper.
Our next and final meeting for the year will be on
Thursday, April 28, at 7:00 p.m. in the Spiritual Life
Center. Please consider joining us because we need lots of
“prayer warriors” to pray for those who are in need of
returning to the Catholic faith. For questions or to add
someone to our prayer list, please contact Denise Dale at
770-827-6810. The Pray Them Home ministry welcomes
new members at any time.
On Palm Sunday, our parish is called on to support
Christians in the Holy Land. As a pontifical collection
requested by Pope Francis, the annual Palm Sunday
collection offers a direct link for parishioners to be
witnesses of peace and to help protect the Holy Places.
When you donate on Palm Sunday, you are supporting
Christians in the Holy Land.
Please use your parish envelopes and drop them off
either in the offertory, at the parish office, or you may
donate online.
Annual Good Friday Pilgrimage

The 36th Annual Ecumenical Good Friday Pilgrimage
(Urban Way of the Cross), sponsored by the Archdiocese
of Atlanta Justice & Peace Ministries is scheduled for
Friday, March 25 from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. This multilingual
walking prayer is a moving experience that includes
scripture readings, reflections, prayer and music as we
remember the passion of Christ and the social injustices in
our world today. The two mile route is considered wheel
chair accessible, but please keep in mind that not all of
the sidewalks along the route are smooth or wide. The
pilgrimage will begin at the Shrine of the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, located at 48 Martin Luther
King, Jr. Drive, SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. We will
gather at 8:45 a.m. to begin our journey with an opening
prayer and a reflection at 9:00 a.m. by Archbishop Wilton
Gregory. We will conclude at the crypt of Martin Luther
King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King with a reflection and
closing prayer. Buses will be available to return
participants to the Shrine. We encourage carpooling or
public transportation as parking is limited. Please contact
Kat Doyle, Director of Justice & Peace Ministries, at
[email protected] for more information or to
volunteer.

Domingo de la Divina Misericordia
Domingo 3 de Abril
La Fiesta de la Divina Misericordia se
celebra en la Octava de Pascua (el
domingo después de la Pascua), es
una fiesta relativamente nueva en el
calendario litúrgico romano. La
celebración de la Divina Misericordia
de Jesús fue revelada a Santa María
Faustina Kowalska.
João and Fr.

e enobrece-a.
E, se for grande a confiança delas, a Minha
generosidade não terá limites. As torrentes da Minha
Graça inundam as almas humildes.
