6 weeks (plus shipping time) for repairs.

Important Features
Royal Pliers
Royal instruments are autoclavable, and are
warranted against corrosion and bond failure
for the life of the instrument. We offer a five
year warranty against manufacturer’s defects,
and a one year warranty for reconditioning,
sharpening and reinserting. This one year
warranty is renewed each year for the life
of the plier. A reconditioning fee is applied,
if the plier is sent in beyond the one year
warranty period.
Classic Pliers
Classic instruments are shipped with a one
year warranty from the date of purchase
against manufacturer’s defects, materials or
workmanship. These instruments also carry
a lifetime warranty on bond failure.
Non-Inserted
Pliers
Non-inserted instruments are shipped with
a ninety day warranty against defects in
materials and workmanship.
All Dentronix pliers are hand-crafted in the USA.
Box joint
All Dentronix manufactured pliers are constructed with a box joint. The increased contact
surface in the joint area assures that cutters won’t scissor and bird beak tips stay properly
aligned.
Tip inserts
The biggest advantage to an insert is the ability to replace it once it is worn. A reinserted
plier will appear and function like a new plier.
HIGH GLOSS FINISH
All Dentronix pliers are available with a High Gloss Finish. This is a bright buff polish (not
chrome-plated) for durability.

Due to numerous requests from Orthodontists worldwide, Dentronix also offers all of
their manufactured pliers in an attractive, Satin Finish. This rich finish eliminates glare,
reduces fingerprints and enhances the overall appearance of the pliers after prolonged
use. This custom finish is ideal for autoclaving (in the Royal Line) as well as for dry heat
sterilization (Royal and Classic Lines).
Equipment
Product Guarantees
All Dentronix equipment is guaranteed for
one year against manufacturer’s defects.
If in normal use, any Dentronix manufactured product is found defective in material or
manufactured workmanship under the current warranty, it will be repaired or replaced at
our discretion. Misuse, negligence or lack of reasonable or proper maintenance and care will
nullify this warranty.
Damages
Every package should be examined
thoroughly before acknowledging receipt.
Any package or merchandise damaged in
transit must be reported to the carrier and
Dentronix immediately. Retain any cartons
or packaging used in shipping.
EQUIPMENT REPAIR
POLICY
Our goal is to provide prompt service on
all equipment repairs. If a sterilizer loaner is
needed, and the unit to be repaired is out of
warranty, the customer is responsible for the
cost of the repair, a nominal loaner fee, and
roundtrip freight charges for the loaner and
the unit to be repaired.
Equipment repairs are warranted
for 90 days against defects in
the repair that was performed,
including replacement parts used.
In the event that a repaired unit fails for
another reason, the customer is responsible
for the repair charge, a nominal sterilizer
loaner fee, and roundtrip freight charges.
All units under warranty are the responsibility
of Dentronix. If needed, a sterilizer loaner will
be provided at no charge to the customer,
and freight will be paid by Dentronix.
The Dentronix “High Performance Box Joint”
keeps your tips stable during cutting
Dentronix has chosen the traditional
European box joint type of construction
for our pliers to give you the best
performance and the most reliable results.
To create a box joint, one side of the plier
handle slides through an opening on the
other side. This creates a secure, stable
joint.
A lap joint on the other hand (like your
household cutting scissors), is formed
when one side of the plier lays over the
other side, then a screw or pin holds
the two sides together. Scissoring of the
tips generally occurs with this type of
construction.
To ensure stable, trouble-free cutting,
reach for the Dentronix cutter with the
“box joint.”

All pliers marked with the letter E in front of the number indicates a Dentronix “top
of the line plier.” What this means to you is that these pliers carry:
• a lifetime warranty on corrosion and bond failure
• a 5 year warranty on manufacturer’s defects
• a one year warranty for reconditioning, sharpening and reinserting. Tips are inserted
with an ultra-hard alloy, which allows us to replace the tips once they wear out.
Replacing the insert tips is comparable to getting a new plier.

Protecting patients and staff from the risks of
cross contamination is an important professional
responsibility. OSHA, the CDC and ADA all
advise sterilization as the effective method for
infection control. The CLASSIC 2100 operates at a
lower temperature (121°C / 250°F) to achieve full
sterilization. This is gentler on your instruments,
thereby protecting your investment. Instruments
are placed inside plastic cassettes, which are
suspended vertically on an internal rack assembly.
Total cycle time, from pushing the “start” button to
handling the instruments is 25 to 30 minutes.
