Dr. Hellyer To Retire

has announced his retirement at the end of 2001.
Lyle began with Indian Hills when it was located
on the third floor of the Centerville High School
building. Starting with only a desk, chair, and
rented classrooms, Lyle’s vision led to Indian
Dr. Lyle Hellyer
Hills’ national prominence today, with two
IHCC President
beautiful campuses and eight education centers,
serving each of IHCC’s ten counties.
Excellence in education at the lowest cost in Iowa has been his
trademark. Farewell wishes can be sent to him at :

to the Centerville and Ottumwa campuses, IHCC education centers
are located in Albia, Bloomfield, Chariton, Corydon, Fairfield,
Keosauqua, Oskaloosa and Sigourney.
Message from Tom
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims,
the survivors, and the heroic rescue workers in
New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.
The IHCC Alumni and Friends Association sends
good wishes to the IHCC Family all around the
world as we each deal with this tragedy in personal
ways. We continue to believe that the strongest
hope against ignorance, intolerance and hate is
Education.
