Application requirements
A nonrefundable deposit must be received with the application.(See
below for deposit amount.) Space will not be held unless the deposit is
received. OSBA reserves the right to reject any application it deems as
$975
inappropriate in nature. If a company’s application is rejected, the deposit

will be returned.

After acceptance of this application, a contract for space will be sent
to the applicant, along with an invoice for the remaining rental fee.

Deposit, Payment schedule and Cancellation policy
The application must be accompanied by a deposit of half of the
total booth cost January 1 thru September 30. After October 1, full payment
is due with your exhibitor application in order to reserve a booth space.
Space will not be held unless the deposit is received.
Full payment will be due 45 days after date of contract and invoice.
OSBA reserves the right to release reserved booth spaces if payment is not
received within 45 days of contract and invoice.
In the event of cancellation, the exhibitor will forfeit the booth
deposit. Cancellations or breach of contract on or after October 1 entitle the
exhibitor to no refund and all payments shall become the property of OSBA
as liquidated damages.

A golden opportunity
For 59 years, the Ohio School Boards
Association’s Capital Conference and Trade Show
has attracted thousands of educators to Columbus
each fall. We’ve added many new booths and have
moved into exhibit halls C and D to better serve our
exhibitors and our conference attendees. We’ve also
changed our show hours to be more convenient for
everyone.
Renew old contacts and make
new ones
The Greater Columbus Convention Center is
the site for the 2014 Capital Conference and Trade
Show. One of the most modern show places in the
nation, the GCCC hosts all convention activities
including the annual business meeting, educational
sessions, several entertainment events and the trade
show.
You’ll meet Ohio public school board members,

what products and services to purchase in their
districts. Their decisions amount to about $16
billion in sales annually.
Booth specifications
Included with rental, booth spaces are decorated
with an 8' high draped back wall with polished
aluminum uprights and stanchions. Division rails
are 36" high with matching draperies. Exhibitors
are provided with a 7" x 44" uniform sign carrying
your company’s name, city and state. No exhibit
material may extend beyond the boundaries of the
exhibit space. A four foot window must be provided
at the front sides of the exhibit to provide an
unobstructed view of neighboring exhibits.
On premise sales
On-premise selling is not condoned, yet
order-taking is acceptable. Each exhibitor receives a
directory of all pre-conference registrants.
Entertainment
Exhibitors may attend OSBA entertainment
activities held during the conference. Exhibitors
may also arrange for their own hospitality suites.
Additional marketing outlets
Gain added exposure by taking advantage of
sponsorship opportunities throughout the
conference. Promotional activities include
educational programs, entertainment events, food
and beverage functions, publications, services and
giveaways.
Exhibitors may also purchase an “InfoAd” for
the conference. This is an electronic visual message
played as part of a slide show run continuously
throughout the conference.
Exhibitors also receive discounts on
advertisements in the OSBA Journal, OSBA’s
bimonthly membership magazine.
