• 1922 Founding of HACO in Liebefeld, Berne
Purpose: manufacture of pharmaceutical products for
Pharmacy Haaf & Cie, Berne
• 1929 First deliveries to Migros
(bouillons and the malt product Eimalzin)
• 1930 Development of a revolutionary decaffeination
technology without harmful residues

Switzerland
• 1972 Opening of Forum Culinaire, an information and
training centre for nutrition matters
• 1979 Founding of NARIDA Ltd.
in Schwarzenburg
