Croissant at Croissan’Time One bite into the flaky, light croissant is like being transported to Paris. Pulled Mozzarella at da Campo Osteria You can get fresh mozzarella at almost any good Italian restaurant, but where can you get it pulled and assembled right in front of you? Da Campo Osteria offers the freshest, most innovative take on mozzarella in the area. Gryo at Greek Islands Taverna Opa! The Greeks know how to make a good sandwich, and it comes in no better form than the perfectly seasoned one at Greek Islands Taverna. Ice Cream Sandwich at YOLO This ain’t no paper-wrapped ice cream sandwich you find at the grocery store. Instead, YOLO’s version has espresso-infused chocolate and is rolled in nuts. One of the best and most memorable foods I’ve ever had was a freshly caught wild silver salmon, grilled simply over a wood fire, and eaten outdoors with fellow food editors in Portland, Ore.
