GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Structure in electrolytically galvanized sheet steel with high resistance
epoxy powder coating. Internal chamber in smooth AISI 304 stainless
steel, with rounded edges to avoid contamination, without any
surface discontinuity. Any internal parts are removable without the
need for tools for maximum cleanliness. Internal door in glass with
silicone rubber sealing.
Exclusive KW system for controlled heating and ventilation of the
internal door in glass sheet: eliminates condensation, ensuring
quick temperature recovery after opening the door.
Elimination of the condensate on the internal walls and internal door,
with an adequate distribution of the thermal flow and with a distinct
temperature regulation of the door and the internal chamber.
Heating takes place by convective exchange with the air.
Separate, easily removable fan. Humidification is obtained through
a stainless steel container placed in the bottom of the internal tub
which allows it to saturate the chamber atmosphere.
CO2 injection is with a PWM solenoid valve system, through an easily
replaceable sterilizing filter. Upon opening the door, the μP system
controls the thermal energy supply to the minimum level of stability
of Tset and interrupts both the flow of CO2 and the microventilation.
Upon closing the door, the PWM system ensures a quick restoration
without overshooting the set value under the centralized and
integrated μP management, which also controls the delay of any
alarm activation.
The W180CCI.IR is available as a bench or floor model, with or without
tubular support, to allow an optimization of space, adapting to every
laboratory configuration. The incubator W180CCI.IR is simple and
safe to use, through:
• Liquid crystal display, alphanumeric with 2 rows of 16 characters
(usable area: 20x95 mm);
• Messages and indications in Italian or English
• Simultaneous indication on display of temperature and CO2
concentration;
• Indication on display of alarm status with remote setup;
• CO2 and °C display and setting with two dedicated keys;
• Password for access to setup of set points and other system
parameters;
• Differentiated temperature regulation for chamber and door;
• Open door sensor with visual acoustic alarm;
• CO2 and temperature concentration recovery algorithms
optimized to minimize thermal shocks (in particular T overshoot)
and concentration;
• Mute-capable visual and acoustic alarms of movement from set
points: T (min/max) and CO2 % (min/max);
• Calibratable overtemperature safety thermostat; CO2 supply
pressure from 0.7 to 3 bar; a regular membrane reducer is
sufficient for the CO2 tank.
CO2 REGULATION:
• NDIR infrared beam sensor;
• Measurement cell thermostatted at 45°C ±0,2°C, so that ambient
temperature and humidity become uninfluential
• Regulation range: 0.0÷10.0% standard; 0.0÷20.0% optional;
• Precision of measurement and regulation: better than 2% of
maximum value;
• Resolution and repetitivity: better than 1% of maximum value;
• Stability < ± 0.1%;
• Uniformity < ± 0.2%;
• Programmable min/max alarm thresholds;
• Acoustic-visual alarms capable of remote setup;
• Zero drift of sensor: less than 2% of maximum value, cleared every
24 hours by automatic calibration system which can be called up by
keyboard;
• Procedure for span value calibration with reference tank =>
programme installed in the μP software complete with instruction
messages, also for self-maintenance;
• Proportional PWM regulation with solenoid valve;
• Time to reach set point after opening 30 sec door: < 10 min in
standard range;
• RH (Relative Humidity) % values > 90% to avoid culture desiccation;
• RS485 or RS232 serial port for transfer of signal to PC (optional);
• Connection and socket for manual control of CO2.

• RTD Pt 100 sensor;
• Optimized PID control;
• Regulation range: from + 5.0 °C above ambient to + 42.0 °C;
• Precision of measurement and regulation: better than 0. 1 °C;

• Uniformity < ± 0. 5 °C of the working volume;
• Time to reach set-point: after opening door for 30 sec: < 6 min;
