Camp Philosophy
The director of this camp, because of his association with high
school basketball, has come to realize the necessity for a solid
foundation in the fundamentals of this game. With this in mind
the camp, which is for boys aged 7-16, will stress teaching
the basics of passing, dribbling, and shooting along with the
important concepts of team play and sportsmanship.
All boys will be grouped according to age, physical
maturity and overall ability. They will be under the personal
supervision of a professional staff who specialize in all areas
of basketball. Individual instruction will be the cornerstone
of the camp.
Facilities
The camp will be held on the Seton Hall Prep Campus at 120
Northfield Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey. The school features a beautifully rebuilt gymnasium, a weight room, locker
room and showers. [ Directions at www.shp.org ]
Activities
Individual instruction... lectures... league games and tournament play... foul shooting contests... one-on-one tourneys
and movies.
Schedule
Camp Director
Coach Kevin Williams joined the Seton Hall Prep faculty in
1995 and has been involved in its sports programs for 19

part of seven state championships, eight county championships and 15 conference championships. He was promoted
to Head Coach following Coach Bob Farrell’s retirement in
March of 2011. Kevin also serves as freshman soccer coach
and varsity golf coach at SHP.
