Materials
We are confident you will not find
better quality materials in any other
jumps. That is why you will not find a
better guarantee on the life of jumps.
Some jumps may at a first glance look
similar, however the use of inferior
quality materials can cause jumps to
become brittle so that they splinter on
impact and inferior colourants and UV
protection can quickly cause colours
to fade and materials to degrade.
Not only does this seriously reduce the
lifetime of the jumps but also their safety.

We use only the strongest engineering
grade plastics with the highest UV
protection, rigorously tested for strength
and durability and designed to withstand
impact and weather conditions.
Furthermore there is no exposed wood in
our jumps to rot, splinter or repaint and
no metal to rust, dent or sheer. Where
graphics are used, we design and
digitally print our own with UV protected
inks which are then protected with
the best quality anti-scuff, anti-peel
laminates to give your designs the
longest life possible. The polymers we
use are also environmentally friendly
and fully recyclable.
Safety
You cannot put a price on safety so
at Jump 4 Joy we don’t! The safety
features that we build into our jumps
are offered as standard at no extra
cost and are not available from any
other manufacturer. At Jump 4 Joy we
believe safety is paramount which is
why our jumps contain no potentially
dangerous metal feet or cups, no
sharp edges and are constructed with
a material that will not splinter.
Our jump bases have been hailed by
professionals in the sport as the safest

benefits of stability and strength whilst
being far safer and more forgiving than
traditional wooden or metal bases.

Stability
The unique base design of our wings
and jump stands give far greater
stability than most other plastic
jumps with steel bases and traditional
wooden jumps, for less weight. When
tested against other jumps in high
winds, without any added sandbags
or weights, our jumps consistently
outstood the plastic jumps with steel
feet and traditional wooden jumps,
whilst being lighter.
This surprising phenomenon is simply
due to the superior footprint of our
bases which have been specifically
designed and engineered to give the
greatest stability possible without being
unduly heavy or cumbersome.

Poles
Our poles give you all the benefits of a traditional wooden pole without the obvious drawbacks:

Our poles are guaranteed to last longer. They are made with superior quality polymer, colourants and fabrication techniques
we believe you will not find a better quality plastic pole on the market with the appearance of a traditional wooden pole. That is
why we are happy to give you a 5 year guarantee on all our poles.
The strength in our poles does not come from the wood inside but from the superior plastics and fusion technology used. This makes
our poles virtually unbreakable. We are therefore able to offer all weights of pole from heavy Affiliated Poles to hollow lightweight
Practice Poles in different bands of colour as well as single colour.
We don’t use plastic sleeves or paint to make our coloured bands – the plastic is formed in that colour so that it will always stay that
colour and will not scratch away or come off. The coloured bands are then fused together to form a virtually unbreakable pole.
We use specially formulated polymer and colourants which are all UV protected to the highest levels so the colours will not fade
and the plastic will not degrade.

Union Jack Design
Our graphics are not just stickon transfers. They are full colour
graphics, tailor made to fit each of
your fillers, planks or wings, whatever
their size, to achieve the best visual
appearance possible.
They are printed on hardwearing
outdoor vinyls using UV protected
inks, which are then over-laminated
with the toughest scratchproof, antiscuff laminate. This is what really sets
our graphics apart from others and
makes them last.
Cards Design
If you choose to have a double sided
filler, we add an extra plastic panel to
the second side of your filler to which
the graphics are then applied. This
way graphics do not show through to
the other side and spoil the effect.

Cross Country Range
Most of our Cross Country Range has
been developed in conjunction with
British Eventing for their indoor winter
Jumping and Style Series. These fences
have to be extremely safe and very
sturdy as they are being jumped by
hundreds of competitors at a time,
whilst still being portable and easy to
set up so they can be transported to
different venues easily.
After 10 years of supplying British
Eventing with our fences we now have
a Cross Country Range that has been
very successfully tried and tested to
the limits of safety and strength and
offers all of the following:

Roll Top
Three jumps in one: This latest version of our Roll Top offers
even greater versatility than ever, giving you three jumps in
one as shown below, being jumped by Pippa Funnell:

Heights: This jump can be set up at three different heights:
75cm, 90cm and 105cm. Using the two extension blocks

each section simply locates on top of the other to increase

blocks).
Strength and Safety: As with all of our Cross Country fences,
this is an extremely safe and sturdy fence which is ideal
for training and has been used very successfully by British
Eventing in their indoor Jumping and Style Series for the past
9 years.

and can be set up from 75cm
increasing at 5cm increments to a
maximum of 110cms

Payment and Pricing
All prices include VAT at the current rate
(please see our separate up to date price
list) but exclude delivery charges which are
detailed below. Payment can be made by
debit/credit card or cheque.
Work will not commence on your order until
pre-payment or a deposit is received and
in any event goods will not be dispatched
until full payment is received in cleared
funds.
Delivery
Mainland UK
All goods ordered may be collected
from Jump 4 Joy workshops in Inkberrow,
Worcestershire, please arrange this when
placing an order.
Alternatively, a nationwide delivery service
is available via a national carrier or Jump 4
Joy’s own vehicle.
Delivery charges within mainland UK:
Orders under £150 incur a delivery charge
of £15. Orders over £150 incur a delivery
charge of 10% of the total order value.
Orders over £750 will, in most cases, be
charged at a maximum rate of £75.
Outside of Mainland UK/Export :
We export worldwide however delivery
charges will vary according to order size
and delivery location and will be quoted
on an individual basis (and will also be in
addition to those quoted on the website).
Export orders will be quoted and invoiced in
pounds sterling.
Delivery Information
Please note accurate postal codes are
required for carrier deliveries and the carrier
cannot give specified delivery times, only
a date.
All deliveries made via carrier must be
carefully checked and signed for as
Jump4Joy cannot be liable for any
damages or shortages if goods have been
signed for as received in full and in good
condition.
How the Guarantee Works in Practice
Delivery dates are given as an estimate
when the order is placed but please
be aware they may change due to
circumstances beyond our control.
Colour Guarantee – Where an item is
covered by the Colour Guarantee, Jump
4 Joy will replace the item (or the affected
part of it, whichever it deems more
appropriate) free of charge. The customer
will be required to provide visual evidence
of the fading and return the item itself
to Jump 4 Joy for further analysis of the
problem.
Guarantee
As with any market leading product, it is
inevitable that cheap imitations appear on
the market. Please don’t be led to believe
that because these products look similar
that the quality is comparable. We build our
products to last and use only the highest
quality materials to ensure the lifetime of
our products. This is why we are prepared
to stand by our product and offer a 5 year
limited Guarantee which breaks down as
follows:
POLYPROPYLENE MATERIAL
(COLOURED PLASTIC):
• Colour Guarantee - 5 year guarantee against fading due to normal UV conditions.
• Breakage Guarantee - 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects and breakage under normal use and conditions (which excludes heavy equipment and transportation damage and fair wear and tear in normal equestrian use).
VINYL PRINTS (ON FILLER, PLANKS
AND WING DESIGNS):
• Colour Guarantee - Colours guaranteed for 5 years against fading under normal exposure to UV.
GLASS-FILLED NYLON CUPS AND
JUMP BASES:
• Breakage Guarantee - 5 Year Guarantee
against manufacturing defects and breakage under normal use and conditions (which excludes heavy equipment and transportation
damage and fair wear and tear
in normal equestrian use).
The 5 year guarantee will be valid on
products purchased after 1 February 2009.
In all cases evidence and date of purchase
will be required.
Breakage Guarantee – Where an item
is covered by the Breakage Guarantee,
Jump 4 Joy will replace the broken parts
or make repairs, whichever it deems more
appropriate. Where an item breaks due
to a manufacturing defect Jump 4 Joy will
replace the item or repair it (whichever it
deems more appropriate) free of charge.
Where an item is covered by the Breakage
Guarantee for breakage other than a
manufacturing defect, Jump 4 Joy will
pro-rate the cost of replacement over the
5 year term at 20% per year. The customer
is responsible for returning the damaged
items) and paying freight charges to
replace them or have them repaired. The
bottom line is that we will do what we can
for you to get the most life out of your Jump
4 Joy products as possible.
Returns
You can return any of the goods received
to Jump 4 Joy provided they are unused
and in their original condition and packing
to prevent damage in transit. Any items
should be returned within 14 days from the
date of dispatch. Jump 4Joy does not use a
freepost service for returned items. Delivery
and insurance for returning items to Jump
4 Joy will be at the expense of the sender.
Jump 4 Joy will refund or exchange the cost
of the goods but is unable to refund the
delivery charge for dispatching the goods.
Jump 4 Joy will not be held responsible for
items damaged or lost while being returned
to the Company. Refunds will not be made
for goods made to customers personal
specification unless faulty or different to
that ordered. This returns policy does not
affect your statutory rights.
