Coleus canina
Grown on a Coleus canina BRITISH Nursery This is a useful and attractive plant with pretty grey-green foliage and plentiful mauveblue flowers through summer. The whole plant is intensely aromatic and is generally avoided by cats and dogs. It prefers a sunny site, tolerating quite dry conditions, and this helps maintain a noticeable release of the plant’s essential oils. Do not over water. It makes a colourful addition to the front of the border, or can be planted in containers which may be moved around the garden to help deter unwanted visitors. • • • • Aromatic foliage Believed to repel cats and dogs Masses of long-lasting mauve flowers Attractive dense, bushy habit
