As they have done for so many years in the past, the Clarenville Days
Committee members have put together an excellent program of activities.
On behalf of my fellow councilors and the residents of Clarenville, I wish to
thank this special group of volunteers for their dedication and strong
desire to make Clarenville Days a success year after year.
I am delighted that the Clarenville Days Committee has chosen to honour
the Clarenville Lions Club on the occasion of their 50th Charter
Anniversary. Wherever there are Lions Clubs, a community’s quality of life
improves, and Clarenville is no exception. For 50 years, hundreds of Lions
Club members have dedicated themselves to fulfilling the Lion’s motto “We
Serve”. We owe them a great deal of gratitude for their service to our town.
I invite you to get out and join your fellow residents in making Clarenville
