YMCA NORTH SIDE TUTORING PROGRAM
The YMCA offers free after school tutoring for
students living at the North Side Manor apartment
complex. By providing tutoring, we are BUILDING
STRONGER, BRIGHTER FUTURES. Through a
partnership with the Food Bank, students are
provided with a hot meal during the week.
Students who attend tutoring are rewarded
with a field trip every week and free camp during
the summer.
YOUTH AND GOVERNMENT
YMCA Youth and Government is a statewide,
youth led, civic engagement program for high
school and middle school students. Students
immerse themselves in democracy as they
compete in judicial, legislative, and media
events. Through Youth and Government, we
are NURTURING TOMORROW’S LEADERS
TODAY. Meetings are held at Moody, Miller,
and Ray high schools and at Martin and
Driscoll middle schools.
