EASTERN CITY TOUR ITINERARY
SICILY (ONE OF THE PEARLS OF SOUTHERN ITALY)
TOUR DESCRIPTION
SATURDAY - EASTERN SICILY:
Arrival in Catania port / airport and accommodation at the hotel of the planned location.
Before dinner meeting with our guide. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour.
SUNDAY - SIRACUSA / NOTO:
Half board at the hotel. Morning departure to Syracuse and visit the old town (Ortigia)
with the Temple of Minerva and the Fountain of Arethusa. The Greek Theatre, the Roman
Amphitheatre, the Latomie and the Ear of Dionysius. Lunch during the excursion.
Afternoon drive to Noto, walk in the old town and back to the hotel.

MONDAY - CATANIA / CEFALU:
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Catania and walk in the old town. Free time. "Snack"
with seasonal specialties Catania (kumquat, granita with brioche or ice cream). Continue
to Cefalu, lunch during the excursion and visit the town. Free time. Departure for Greater
Western. Hotel accommodation and dinner.
TUESDAY - PALERMO / MONREALE:
Half board at the hotel. Visit the center of Palermo, the Cathedral and the Cloister of
Monreale. Lunch. Leisure center. Return to the hotel.

WEDNESDAY - ERICE / SELINUNTE:
Breakfast at hotel and departure to Ericeand orientation tour of the town. Continue to
Marsala, visit a winery with tasting social. Typical lunch during the tour and in the
afternoon visit the archaeological site of Selinunte. Departure for Agrigento, hotel
accommodation and dinner. In the event of road closures will be made to reach Erice
visiting Trapani.
THURSDAY - AGRIGENTO / PIAZZA ARMERINA:
Breakfast at hotel and visit the Valley of the Temples. Typical lunch during the excursion
and continue to Piazza Armerina to visit the Villa Romana del Casale. After starting the
Eastern Zone. Hotel accommodation and dinner.

FRIDAY - ETNA / TAORMINA:
Half board at the hotel. Excursion Etna with ascent in bus up to 1900 mt., Possibility of
excursion (surcharge) in 4x4 buses and licensed guide for the visit of the main craters.
Lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon visit of Taormina and the Greek Theatre.
Free time. Return to the hotel.
SATURDAY - EASTERN SICILY:
Breakfast at the hotel and end of services.
THE PRICE INCLUDES:
 Bus Gran Turismo and Tour Leader (multilingual on request) from Saturday
evening to Friday lunchtime.
 Full board, fixed menu, with meals taken at the hotel or at outdoor restaurants, from
dinner on Day 1 to the breakfast of the 8th.
 Drinks included with meals: 04.01 lt. wine, 1/2 lt. mineral water and coffee after
lunch.
 Welcome cocktail.
 Tour and tasting at a winery.
 Sicilian snack, second season, the arancini or 4 granite with brioche or ice cream.
 Using audio-receivers for the duration of the tour.
 Accommodation in 4 stars.

Monreale.
NOT INCLUDED:
 Entrances where required to monuments, museums, galleries and archaeological
sites. For sites is valid Ministerial Decree in force.
 Local taxes and any tourist tax of stay.
