Harrogate customer wins a brand new car, courtesy of JCT600
Rachel Embleton from Harrogate is the lucky winner of a brand new car having taken a test drive at
JCT600’s Mazda dealership in Bradford this Easter, giving her the chance to enter a free draw.
Yorkshire-based family motor retailer JCT600 offered the egg-strordinary competition from 14 to 27
April at many of its dealerships and more than 1,000 customers test driving a new or used car took part.
Rachel was picked at random from the 1,017 entrants and has been presented with a Peugeot 107

Rachel, 24, is a trainee accountant with Eura Audit in Ripon, the town where she grew up. Rachel
commented: “I’m absolutely over the moon! I couldn’t believe it when I was told I had won – being a
Yorkshire woman, I kept on thinking there had to be a catch, it was too good to be true.
“I previously had a 15 year old Peugeot which has been great, but I knew I needed to replace it with
something newer so I went to JCT600’s Mazda dealership and test drove a Mazda2 which I loved. I went
back with my dad the next weekend and used a finance deal to buy the car – at the same time, I couldn’t

resist the complimentary Easter egg which included an entry to the free draw, never thinking that I
might win.
“I haven’t decided yet which of the cars I’m going to keep – it’s a lovely position to be in!”
John Tordoff, chief executive of JCT600, added: “The free draw proved extremely popular and really
added to the holiday fun, with everyone who entered being treated to a JCT600 Easter egg. We send
