The first step should be to determine whether you can afford the house

of the income usually goes to house payments, one-third of the income
usually goes to taxes, and one-third of the income usually goes to the
other expenses such as: groceries, utilities, telephones, cell phones, car
payments, car repairs, car insurance, credit card payments, entertainment,
health insurance, life insurance, laundry, vacation, clothing, etc, etc. For
example, if a married couple earns $6,000.00 a month, $2,000.00 usually
goes to pay the rent or mortgage, including real property taxes, including real property insurance, and real property maintenance. $2,000.00
usually goes to pay for taxes. $2,000.00 usually goes to pay for the other
expenses. If you are a single person earning $3,000.00 a month in income
and you have mortgage payments that exceeds $1,000.00 a month. It is
a RED FLAG that you may have serious problems in making your monthly
mortgage payments.
If you have credit problems, these credit problems will normally incur in
you having to pay higher interest rates on your mortgages, therefore, you
will normally incur higher monthly mortgage payments.
For example, if you have a $300,000.00 mortgage, payable monthly in
30 years, with an interest rate of 5% per year, you will pay an estimated
$1,500.00 in monthly payments. If you have a $300,000.00 mortgage,
payable monthly in 30 years, with an interest of 10% per year, you will
pay an estimated $2,500.00 to $3,000.00 in monthly payments. Therefore,
if you have a poor credit rating, it is probably worth to work with a credit
counseling company. In order, to repair your credit rating and to incur in
lower mortgage interest rates and to incur in lower monthly mortgage
payments. Finally, these days, most of the mortgage companies are not
working with the no money down, or no down payment house sales.
These days, most of the mortgage companies require that you have 5%,
10%, 15% or 20% of the down payment amount on the house. This means
that, today it is much more difficult for a person to purchase a house, but
it is not impossible. Before you purchase a house, you need to determine,

Monthly-Cooking Tips -Filipino Cuisine
Spring Rolls
Ingredients:
7-9 Large Chinese mushrooms
large head of cabbage
2 carrot
1/4 pound lean ground pork
garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1/3 pound cooked salad shrimp
frozen wrappers, preferably

Pastry or Weichuan
Egg white
vegetable oil
COOKING METHOD:
Cover mushrooms with boiling water and let soak at least 16 minutes
while preparing other ingredients. Quarter cabbage and discard core.
Shred into 1/8 inch strips by pushing quickly through a food processor
using the slicing disk. Put cabbage into a large mixing bowl. Peel carrot
Using the vegetable peeler, cut ribbons of carrots directly into bowl of
cabbage . Saute pork in a large deep skillet . Add garlic powder, salt and
pepper to taste. When cooked , add to the cabbage.
Defrost and rinse shrimp; remove visible veins,then add to cabbage.
Drain mushrooms, remove stem and sliced very thinly. Add to cabbage.
Add more seasoning and mix well. Return to skillet over medium heat
and toss continually until cabbage starts to wilt slightly. Remove
from heat and return to mixing bowl. When cool, squeeze all excess
liquid from filling.
Heat oil in wok or skilled on high heat. If using a deep fryer, heat to 350
degrees. Using 1/3 cup of filling, wrap spring rolls in the usual manner.

Seal tighly with egg whites. Fry several at a time until wrapper is
golden brown . Lift out of pot with tongs and drain well on paper
towels before serving. ©

What are the vision and mission of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI?
Our vision is to bring about a revival of the true Christian spirit in our Catholic
faith, particularly among the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI members and followers,
and to raise up a true Christian family and a community of Spirit-filled, generous, loving, victorious, joyful, and united believers of God who care and share
each other’s burdens and blessings for the glory of God, our Heavenly Father, El
Shaddai as described in Acts 2:42-47.
On the other hand, our mission is to share the Light of the Lord Jesus Christ, the
Joy of our Salvation, and our faith in Him through our own personal testimonies
of the power of His Word such as our conversion through repentance and deliverance from the bondage of sin and vices; the transformation from our old selfcentered, destructive and confused lives to new victorious lives in Christ Jesus;
and the healing of our broken relationships and physical ailments. We want to
let the people know that God is alive, that He loves and cares for us and that He
is willing to forgive us, heal our diseases, and deliver us from all our troubles if
we repent of our sins, turn away from our wicked ways, and establish a personal
relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ Who shall set our hearts on fire with the
love of God and neighbor.
What plan of action does the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI undertake to pursue its
vision and mission?
To pursue our vision and mission, we conduct fellowships and programs which
are focused on the inspired proclamation of the Living Word of God and the
life-testimonies of people whose lives have been touched by El Shaddai.
We also utilize the modern tri-media technologies: television, radio and print.
In addition, community chapters nationwide and international chapters abroad
hold weekly prayer-meetings as a result of the enthusiasm of the prayer-partners to share with others the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI’s Spirit of Faith,
Love and Unity!
