The judges of the contest were

of the present cheerleaders, Pat
Haron. The g i r l s were rated on a
scale of 25 points by each judge.
Up to 5 points for each of the
f o l l o w i n g were counted:
Pep,
j u m p , smoothness of movement,
appearance,
personality
and
poise.
I t may be that the girls who
did w e l l i n the practices made a
poor showing at the tryouts , due
to tension and nervousness. The
final
choices were
announced
soon a f t e r w a r d and an anxious
crowd learned that D o r i n O l tarsh, Annabelle Sloane, C a r o l y n
Gaita, Niba N a t a l o n i , Pat Cooper, Irene Rice, Randi Sontum,
and Catherine M o n t o u r i , had

Come on out, kids, save on

time supporting your G. O. This
year the G. O. has come up w i t h
a snazzy idea of having its C h r i s tmas dance a sock hop. It's s t r i c t ly
informal—informal?—whadydya mean i n f o r m a l — j u s t check
your shoes at the door. T h e r e ' l l

ending at 12:30. The price is v e r y
reasonable, $1.25 w i t h G. O.,
$1.75 w i t h o u t . The entertainment
promises to be v e r y l i v e l y w i t h
