Paua Class did so well in their last class assembly
as Year 1. It was all about Father’s day! Children
told us all about the different ways in which we can
say ‘dad’ – ‘Arbol’ (Somali), ‘Padwa’ (St Lucia),
‘Padre’ (Spanish) along with many more.
We also read some poems that we
wrote about our dads. We used
similes and lots of us said that they
are as funny as a joker!
He drives me to school,
Your daddy is so cooool,
He’s handy with his tools,
Your daddy is so coool!
Daddy, daddy cool …
He told me to not break the rules,
Your daddy is so coool,
Sometimes he acts a fool,
NO daddy, that is NOT cool!
A big well done from Miss Katakia, Mrs Stapleton and Mrs Johnson!

your class teacher by Friday 24th June – the more
