How to Upgrade ETERNITY PE/GE/ME/LE?
Step1: Check the current Version – Revision of ETERNITY in System Details page
Step2: Open the FTP of ETERNITY CPU card
Step3: User needs to enter the SE login id (se) and password to Login
User Name: se
Default Password: 1234
Step4: It will appear on the screen as shown below. You first need to take the
backup of the config folder. And click on system folder.
Step5: Below files will appear in the system folder
Delete all the files and folders
NOTE: IF you cannot delete all folder then
Delete the content inside the folder
Step6: There will be a folder named as “ETERNITY xx_VyyRzz”. Unzip that folder
and you will be able to find the folder named as “Field”. Under this Field folder
there will be two folders as shown below:
Go in the
“Firmware-Part-1”
Copy this files and folders and
paste in System folder of FTP
Note: If you face any issue while Copying the files and folders from “FirmwarePart-1” then it is advisable to copy them one by one (Files and Folders).
Step7: After successful completion of Copying the files and folders of “FirmwarePart-1” in the system folder on FTP it is advised to check the Byte size before
restarting the “ETERNITY” as below. User can check the Byte Size by selecting all
the files (Excluding Folders) and by clicking on the “Properties”
Note: Byte Size of Both The folder must be same. If it is not same then Copy all
the files again One By One.

Step8: Restart the “ETERNITY” from the “Jeeves” as shown below
Password will be as
“4321”
(Reverse of SE
password)
Step9: After Restart, User can open Web Jeeves again in 5-7 minutes and below
screen will appear
You will start getting
ping on ETERNITY CPU
card IP
You can login as
“System Engineer”
only
Step10: Below Screen appear if firmware up gradation of First part is successful
Step11: Refresh the system folder and you can see below files inside the system
folder
Step12: Delete all these files and refresh the page again. Copy all the files
from“Firmware-Part-2” and paste all the files in “SYSTEM” folder on the FTP
Go in the
“Firmware-Part-2”
Copy this files and paste in
System folder of FTP
Step13: After successfully completion of all the files once again check the “Byte
Size”

Step14: Restart the “ETERNITY” from the Jeeves.

Step15: User can now continuously ping the ETERNITY CPU card IP address and
login to the Jeeves of ETERNITY
Step16: From the system details, you can check that ETERNITY is upgraded
successfully
