other jewelry as well. The Niessing brand stands for high-quality contemporary design, committed both to classic design and to experimental expression. The Niessing
employees have abundant experience when it comes to handling precious metals. Today, NIESSING vouches for the skillful interaction of traditional goldwork techniques
with the latest manufacturing methods.
Niessing jewelry always starts with an idea: Designers and goldsmiths put a lot
of time into giving a simple, basic shape to this idea. Niessing jewelry is pure form,
reduced to the essential. Gold, platinum, diamonds, but also steel and high-quality
synthetic gems: The beauty of the materials, the simplicity of the design, and perfect
craftsmanship speak for themselves.

A great number of design awards testify to the creativity and craftsmanship
inherent in Niessing jewelry. The Niessing Tension Ring® has acquired particularly
outstanding significance. The Vreden-based artist Walter Wittek created it in 1979.
It has been on the market since 1981 and recognized as a piece of art and protected
by copyright since 2001. Today, the Niessen Tension Ring® is included in the collections of notable museums.
Niessing jewelry is available worldwide from more than 300 partner jewelers in
Europe, the Americas, China, and Japan. For the past 12 years, Niessing has been
presenting jewelry in its own shops. There are currently six successful Niessing
Concept Stores in Germany – in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart,
and the most recent one in Constance. There are several Niessing Shops in Japan
and China, as well.
