Approx. 200 athletes will take part in Adaptive & Rehabilitative Sports: Swimming, air rifle, archery,
cycling, track & field, basketball, rugby, yoga & volleyball

9:30 to 11 am – Senior Leader Professional Development (Mandatory 05
Level Command Teams and above) Breakout sessions with employer
panel.

11 to 12 pm – Brown Bag Lunch / Networking event between Employers
and Senior Leaders (On-site). Buffet lunch provided free of charge for
participants.

1 to 3:30 pm – Service Member Job Seeker symposium with Employers
(Breakout session with light refreshments provided)

I CORPS, and JBLM Soldier for Life-Transition Assistance
Program (SFL-TAP) facilitates a symposium with senior business
executive and JBLM senior leaders on 4 MAY 16 from 09001500 at the American Lake Conference Center (ALCC) on JBLM
to discuss the challenges that corporate businesses experience
during the interview process.
Morning (Sr. Leaders):
4 MAY 16 at 0900-1200 (ALCC)
This event is mandatory for all O5 Level Command Teams and
above. The morning session will focus on three (3) topics:
accessibility to opportunities, panel/Sr. Leader problem solving
session and managing expectations.
Afternoon (Transitioning Service Members):
4 MAY 16 at 1300-1530 (ALCC)
This event is mandatory for all SMs within six (6) months of transition,
and recommended for those SMs within 12 mons of transition. SMs
from all career field and AOCs, Veterans and Family Members (FM) can
attend the symposium. The event seeks to provide clarity of current,
and emerging challenges that businesses see as negative common
denominators that prevent SMs from securing employment in the
civilian sector.
