HAF ( HOUSING
California has faced chronic housing
shortages and housing affordability
problems for decades. Recent analyses
of the housing gap indicate that the
state faces a housing shortfall of 80 to
100 thousand units each year. Given
the housing shortage, it is no surprise
that only fourteen percent of California
households can afford the median-priced
home in the state, compared to fifty-nine
percent nationally. REALTORS® across
the state are well aware of these issues,
and have often been in the forefront in
publicizing these problems and seeking
solutions to them for several years.

requests for local programs that address housing
affordability and housing supply directly. In order to have
the maximum impact, it seeks to leverage its funds with
Local Associations and their housing partners.
Is $350 Worth 1 Call ?
Real estate agents involved in investment property sales are
often asked whom they would recommend for property management. The question is, what are the differences between the
various companies? To help you find out, call for our free
report, Selecting A Property Manager. Many agents refer to
HomePointe, and are rewarded with the highest referral fees
paid in the area. Call us to learn more.

For the third consecutive year, SAR
will sponsor a team of volunteers to
help Rebuilding Together rehabilitate
not a home, but an entire neighborhood!
The spring project will include thirty homes in the Meadowview Area.
The beneficiaries are typically elderly,
infirm or low-income homeowners
who lack the ability to maintain or
upgrade their homes. Of course, the
entire neighborhood and community
benefit as well!
Volunteer trades people, handymen and handywomen are needed
for the big jobs, but anyone who can
pound a nail, paint a room, plant a
flower or wield a rake is welcome. This
is a wonderful opportunity to work
side by side with your teenaged kids
(or grandkids) and share with them
the value of community service.
Please call (437-1208) or email
([email protected]) Greg Vlasek
no later than Thursday March 29th to
participate!
